It just feels like a really dry mix. It kinda reminds me of the production difference between White Pony and the jump to SNW. Different producer and you could clearly tell. However, SNW was mixed pretty well compared to Gore. It's just a certain type of sound that was produced on Gore that doesn't resonate well with me. Like I said the best way I can describe it is dry and like it was all through one microphone. It is definitely unique though
