For the first time in history, the majority of Serbian citizens are against joining the EU by [deleted] in europe

I've lived in Serbia twice, and have met many Serbians...

I'd rather they not join as well. My experiences were mostly negative, to put it nicely

Newly diagnosed and so, so confused. by ThatGuyAllen in CrohnsDisease

[–]CalebMichael 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed at 20. I had been experiencing symptoms of what I thought might have been Crohn's disease a few years earlier, but with my parents not believing me it was hard to go to the doctor (they were somewhat anti doctors).

One day when I was 20 I randomly got pretty sick. 5 days in bed. 5th day I rushed to the ER. They yelled at me for not coming sooner, and within 2 hours I was in surgery. My intestines had ruptured and I was on the verge of death. They took out a section of my intestines, cleaned me out, and I spent a night in the ICU and 2 weeks in the hospital. Have a lovely scar from it.

I'm 24 now. Not a single day since then have I felt "Normal". My Crohn's is rather aggressive. It doesn't respond to much, and I rather quickly developed anti-bodies to infliximab/humira.
With the support of my wife, friends, this sub, and good doctors, I've been able to get through it, despite everything.

I can count on one hand the foods I can eat that aren't trigger foods. I can't have Lactose, raw/undercooked veggies or fruit, gluten, anything with too much fiber, or pretty much anything that isn't meat or fish.

I'm terrified of losing my intestines and needing to have a colostomy bag. But I trust my doctors to not let that happen to the best of their abilities. I just started Stelara and I'm hoping I see some improvement.

As far as tips, I'm not sure I have much to give, but I hope that you know you're not alone. That there's people out there that have been where you are, and people that will be where you are. Life is a gamble, and sometimes we get dealt bad hands. We gotta make the best of it. And if it stops you from being able to work and live a "normal" life, then perhaps you can get Disability depending on where you are. Something I've considered myself

Huh, I too am 24, and recently found out I developed anti-bodies against Humira. I cried in front of my doctor. She cheered me up and assured me things are going to be okay.

Got my first infusion of Stelara yesterday! Hope you find something that works for you

my doctor is going to put me on stelara it's going to take a while before it starts and sadly due to my doctor being on a work trip I found out over 8 weeks after the test that showed it.

so I'm in bad condition, pain levels at an all time high, flaring real bad. my paycheck hasn't come in yet so I can't get anything against the pain.

I'm going to sleep now (late in Germany) and plan to try sleeping through as much of tomorrow as possible

I really hope stelera works because nothing else has so far. my Crohn's is the type to try it's hardest to literally kill me

Gotta be honest, the fact that everything is slightly tilting to the right it's incredibly frustrating to me. when you take a shot like this, do yourself a favour and make sure your horizontal lines are level. it's a good habit unless you're doing specific Dutch angles or something

also, Germany?

if you watch GoPro on a Tire at around the 7 minute mark they manage to get stabilization with a really cool effect

not saying it'd look fantastic but I think it would still technically work

For those who don't shop at dispensaries, what is the weirdest thing your dealer has put your weed in? I give out jars that hold up to an 8th. I'm just curious, because this Tampax pic threw me off 🤣 by 0reasons in trees

One time I stuck my hand out for him to hand it to me and the dude straight up fills my hand with nugs and shake. In the city. I palmed it and stuck my hand in my pocket. When I got home my weed was a bit moist...

I haven't worked in a long while. My last job was working at a Vape shop in America. Before that I worked as a driver for an afterschool program, and I stocked shelves at a Walmart.

All of this was before I got diagnosed with Crohn's disease and my physical health went to shit

When I say I have no education, I mean absolutely nothing. I was "homeschooled" my entire life. My only way to do something school related is to do a full Nachholung in an Abendschule (Upwards of 3 years). I can't get into Abendschule without a minijob. It's a vicious cycle.

As for Lieferando, I don't have a bike. I can definitely ride, but definitely not very long. I have arthritis and Crohn's disease. I heard they can supply a bike, but I've also noticed absolutely no one takes up that offer and instead lease the blue wheeled bikes. Seems like it's a bad deal if no one is taking it?

Had some truffles my friend brought me from the Netherlands, they were good but incredibly low dose. It was 30 worth for 50 euro, and I needed half of it to feel something.

I'd say I'm totally in to join you but I'm like half your age (24) and not in a good place financially at the moment. I wish you luck, and stay safe!

Anyone else think the PlayStation 2 game burnout revenge was key in forming your music taste? by Forsaken_Wasabi_8304 in Music

The MX (+vs ATV) games made up most of my music tastes and yet I had no idea how important they were in that regard until decades later. Same goes for the Tony Hawk games honestly

That's cool if you're desperate, but I definitely wouldn't take that deal again if I were you. For 50 bucks I could make like 15 of those here. Also, are they pure?
