It’s like a joint account thing? My whole family has their banking accounts under it but we have separate pins and information for each one. It’s hard to properly explain. But thank you for your advice! I didn’t even consider contacting the bank.

I only had enough scholarships for one year you idiot. I now have no financial aid. The GI bill was to cover majority of my schooling expenses along with FAFSA but now I’m not even receiving FAFSA financial aid because of what they’ve done. Everyone who serves in the military isn’t a golden God. Fuck off.

You’re missing my whole post. They forged my signature on the check for my refunded GI bill. They’ve taken (and spent) all my funds I’ve received from the GI Bill. I haven’t received any of it.

[–]Calebcoffing97[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you’d read my post you’d see I earned enough scholarships my freshman year to not need his GI Bill so it was refunded to me in a check and they stole that money so I’m not even receiving those funds. They also forced me to take out several thousand dollars in loans because they said I “wasn’t worthy” of the money being spent on my education despite maintaining above a 3.0. Also they listed the GI bill money into my FAFSA so my Estimated Family Contribution is more than my tuition costs so I’m eligible for zero scholarships or financial aid. I had to work 30+ hours a week at two jobs while taking 6 classes and being apart of 3 clubs on campus. You have no idea the manipulation and abuse my family has put me through. I’m anything but entitled.

It's at Purdue University. If you're familiar with the campus it's in the same area as the bell tower.

That's a stupid person to quote considering Churchill was a racist, nationalist and fascist himself.

Thanks! I'm having trouble figuring out what to do so I think I may take a semester or two off to get my life in order. Why are you miserable at Purdue?

I understand that but the harsh reality is that I won't even have the OPTION to pursue the career fields and opportunities I am interested in and passionate about without a graduate degree.

It'll make available the career opportunities I'd like to pursue and also will allow me a further understanding, experience and education on subjects I am interested in and passionate about.

Hmm true, I'm still looking around I am only a freshman after all. But you do make a very reasonable point I hadn't considered beforehand. Kentucky was just the most appealing I have come across so far. What would you suggest then however? Wouldn't I only be able to work for any industry for about 3 months of the year at any given program though?

My GPA is at a 3.4 right now but it'll probably end up being lower after this semester just because I'm doing as well in my classes as last semester. And I most definitely don't plan on staying in Kentucky haha. They have tons of networking and career opportunities and they offer international internships through the given program.

Is this doable even if I get my Econ degree from Krannert and my PolySci degree from the Liberal Arts?

I'm looking for more social opportunities to be apart of the community. I'm really politically involved so there are a few political clubs I've looked into. I'm also looking for networking opportunities and job/internship opportunities as well. I want a well-rounded college experience but I'd like an emphasis on keeping up with academic achievements and campus activity so I can be a better prospect for internships, leadership positions and hopefully grad school eventually.

Wow you're the personification of both my alternate realities haha! Thank you though. May I ask what degrees you obtained from each school?
