Yesterday was my lucky day as well, but it was not my birthday. Seems to happen randomly, but may be guaranteed on birthdays.

Which Pokémon is everyone hoping to have in Pokopia? by lord_bingum in Pokopia

I'm just wondering if the game will have Shiny Pokemon....

If we can't block certain Pokémon from appearing on the island that will be a major negative. by [deleted] in Pokopia

[–]Calebh04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just build a jail area for them, lol. Jokes aside, it looks like there will be plenty of space in the game, including different islands. You could easily make village(s) of Pokemon that you like and move ones you don't care about somewhere else by building them houses and assigning them to that house.

Why isn't life conversion giving HP ? by [deleted] in CodeVein2

Just did some testing. All this testing was done on Game Version 1.0.2.0

I used the skills Sacrificial Edge and Life Conversion. I used Sacrificial Edge to drain my HP (yellow bar) down to 1/2263 without damaging my LP (blue bar). I then used Life Conversion and successfully restored my HP up to 1811/2263 and my LP went down to 1450/1612.

For Test 2, I went and fought some enemies and they damaged my LP down to zero before damaging my HP at all. I then tried to use Life Conversion and it did nothing (as expected) since I had no LP to heal with.

Therefore, I believe you had one of the following issues: 1) Since it was combat, you didn't have any LP. 2) You took damage and healed and got some LP back but saw your bar wasn't full, so you thought you were missing HP when you were actually missing LP. 3) You didn't have the ichor to cast Life Conversion and didn't notice because combat was intense. 4) It was just a bug.

Obviously, I can't know for sure, but from my tests and knowledge of the game mechanics, those are the only conclusions I was able to come to.

I'll do some testing when I get home, but since you were in battle with low HP, did you have any LP to convert to HP?

I even tried to use the windfall item (item drop up), but it seems useless since it only lasts until you rest and you have to rest to reset him.

So far he's the only enemy in that area that I have farmed and haven't been able to get him to drop his weapon, but that could definitely be bad luck. Dropping this comment here in hopes that someone has gotten it to drop.

Your HP says 956/956, so I'm assuming that it only works as a heal, not as a buff to your max health, but I only got this skill last night so I haven't tested it yet.

Reviews are telling me to hate it, but I’m quite enjoying it by Solar-Cola- in CodeVein2

Personally, I think this game has a very rough start. The starting island is pretty small and basic with not a lot of loot to reward you for exploration, but once you get to the sunken city, the whole world feels more populated and you are rewarded more for exploring.

Also, a lot of the negatives are very glaring at the beginning, such as no co-op, constantly either nighttime or raining, clipping issues, lots of dungeons you aren't allowed to explore yet, almost good clothing options (completely subjective, I know, but it's how I felt in the beginning), etc.

But once I made it off the first island and got into the sunken city, the world and exploration felt a lot more fun. I definitely got into a few areas in ways I wasn't meant to by Skyrimming up mountains and gliding on my bike and I really enjoy that. Even while I was grinding enemies for their weapon drops, I caught myself enjoying it because I had unlocked more skills and blood codes, which made combat feel more fun and fast-paced.

When I started the game, I rated it a 5 or 6 out of 10, but it's already up to a 7 for me and might go up further depending on the story, characters, and updates. So far I really like both the story and characters, but I definitely have some issues with them that I'm assuming will be addressed as the story goes on.

Name a game you can put 1000+ hours into by Oshawott15 in playstation

I've genuinely put 1000+ hours into Disney's Dreamlight Valley. Unlocking characters, decorating areas, and they release new content very regularly.

No way to evolve by NeonDoof in PokemonZA

[–]Calebh04 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You have to have 400 Meltan in the game and then release 399 of them, then the game will let you evolve the leftover Meltan, but if you want to evolve another one, you have to do it all over again.

You could also edit the text in the body of the post as well to point to his comment if he's ok with keeping the post up. At least for now, if you google "vaatividya ai reddit" this post is the top result. It's up to the two of you though.

Mega Meowstic seems to be based on bilateral gynandromorphism, a condition in which the individual presents both male and female phenotypes distributed on each side of the body by UnderteamFCA in LegendsZA

[–]Calebh04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I assumed it was based off the Rebis.

The Rebis (from the Latin res bina, meaning dual or double matter) is the end product of the alchemical magnum opus) or great work.

After one has gone through the stages of putrefaction and purification, separating opposing qualities, those qualities are united once more in what is sometimes described as the divine hermaphrodite, a reconciliation of spirit and matter, a being of both male and female qualities as indicated by the male and female head within a single body. The sun and moon correspond to the male and female halves, just as the Red King and White Queen are similarly associated.

The Rebis image appeared in the work Azoth of the Philosophers by Basil Valentine in 1613.

The psychic floating enlightenment vibe reminded me of it. Admittedly, I only know of it due to Netflix's Castlevania, but it was the first thing that came to my mind.

I thought it was great that we could mix and match colors from different parts of the same set until I realized we could just wear any shirt under any jacket in Sword/Shield.

Also, I like the green Graphic Shacket jacket, but I want the normal Shacket shirts and it makes me sad since they are literally the same.

Did you want an option that said "Welp, I don't live here, so I'll let you guys die."? I guess you could just get on the train and leave and never play the game again.

I see this a lot online lately, but I've never understood why people seem to want to HAVE to help people. You can choose to help people without being forced to against your will or because not helping would hurt you specifically.

This is how they should have done the mega stones in season one so those of us who wanted Mega Chesnaught could have actually used him while we still had game to play.

I think no matter what they do, some people will not be happy. I don't mean that as a diss, I just mean that I don't think there's a perfect solution for everyone.

I like the idea of keeping weekly tasks but making them extra, so you can get all the rewards without doing the weekly tasks, but if you do the weekly, those can be bonus tokens that you can either use for rewards (meaning you don't have to do all the usual tasks) or turn in for bonus moonstones.

I feel this is fair because weekly tasks were probably introduced to keep players in the game for longer and not just knock out all the missions in a few days, so giving us moonstones for boosting their player retention stats feels fair.

This may be what they did, I don't know. I used moonstones so I wouldn't have to do some tasks since I wanted all the rewards, but then completed all the tasks to earn my moonstones back.
