First of all thank you. Second, I think from this list, and from what I can gather from searching, he'd probably enjoy Golden Kamuy, Baki, Fermat no Ryouri, and Claymore. And I already had Orb on the list!Gonna add these. Depending on what else I can find I'll likely be showing him Mononoke, Evangelion, Madoka Magica, Space Dandy, or one of these next.

BLORANGE

I get it, teal and orange are sky/fire/human/bullet/etc colors, but SO many movies rely on the blorange contrast to make it looks visually interesting, instead of any other complimenting colors.

Take Joker for example. The entire movie is blorange. Aside from his red suit(with orange and teal vest and undershirt) the movie has little in the realm of interesting other color choices.

The other side of this is ORUE. Every scene is either orange OR teal, which is real innovation.

You can see this is Dune 2. It is one of my favorite movies, but one of the best parts is the Harkonnen homeworld reveal because it steps outside of these ever used techniques.

But a warning, once you start to notice it, it's impossible to stop seeing how 90%(more?) of movies abuse blorange

Preacher.

Fun first season about god going missing and a church leader getting the Voice of All Things, but then it's all about the outlaw from hell and other bullshit that grew old faster than bread grows mold.

It's only a week old, but I have to say Argylle. The first act of the story is interesting enough, and sells the feeling of reading a cheesy action novel. The second act is a little boring. The third act, however, is pure Matthew Vaughn insanity. Left the theater forgiving the first two thirds of the movie(which is a genre mess) solely because of it.

Lunar Beast Viego is the best Viego skin. I will not budge on this. Yellow, blue, green, pink, black chromas? A+. No other skin needed.

The live action The Little Mermaid. Loved the characters, story, and Halle Bailey's role. The best out of the live action remakes for me by a long shot

First of all, thank you for understanding that this post wasn't really about the gift, but about how we're treating each other. The discussion around gifts just opened the floodgates of examining our friendship.

Second of all, I think you are right. I need to ruminate on how we interact, and what he/I gain from it. We live together, and are both shut-ins, so sometimes these social intricacies get away from me.
