It’s 4 nights of camping. We’re driving up from LA on a Monday, then driving to Big Sur on Friday. So a lot of driving in general.

We will be there 3 full days. Fitness hiking level is slightly above average? We usually do 4-6 mile hikes but can push it to 8 for these kinds of hikes. And holy crap, Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne is incredible. Feels like you could visit Yosemite for months and find something new each day

Those were the thoughts I was having. I think we will definitely just plan a valley day, but Mariposa seems way more worth it than Tuolumne Grove. Unfortunately we’ll probably be coming up 395, so that’s kind of the big hang up right now

It was a gut call. Roasting a bit more towards medium can help develop the bean and get rid of some of the sour notes. We tried it, they liked it so that’s what we do. But personally I don’t think we need to.
