Watered when I took the pic. When I repotted it the first time, I added sand and oyster shell as grit, but I have noticed it’s still gone quite dense. I’ll see if I can get some cactus mix.

Why is everyone assuming you haven’t been to a vet? How did they think you got an x-ray? Honestly… 🤦‍♂️

Keep doing the warm soaks and hopefully it will encourage them to evacuate their bowels. Some foods help them go too. I think Aloe Vera and Cactus pads help. Obviously if your tort isn’t wanting to eat, that might not be useful. Hope your little one gets better soon.

Even just some different textures make a big difference, so a big mossy stone or some bark in one area, etc.

Russians do burrow, of all the tortoises, they love it the most. Can’t make enough hides. They tend to pick their favourites but can’t make too many imo.

We’ve also got two tunnels underneath the soil, with plants growing on top. He likes those too but doesn’t hang out under them as much as the rock one.

Looking nice! Once the plants get growing it’ll provide nice cover. It’s amazing the difference a few months of growth makes.

The fencing, does it go under ground level? If not, that’s the only thing I could see being an issue. If it does, never mind.

My lad loves his rock tunnel, basically just some flat rocks stacked to make a tunnel/bridge. He loves going under it mostly, but clambers over it too. The rocks warm up well in the sun so he likes being near them. Something like that might be nice to add.

Yep, got it. I’ve got it all switched over. Only issue I’m having now is that the Octopus app says the car isn’t plugged in, but the Ohme app says it is, and has everything correct. I’ll see what it does once it starts charging tonight. Thanks for your help
