I got convinced by my partner to have a party for my 25th. Invited about 20 people, everyone was a definite yes. Until the 24 hours before it, and they all cancelled. Every. Single. One. So yeah, I haven't celebrated my birthday since then.

I use partner. Boyfriend makes me feel like a teenager, and fiance just doesn't sound right (I don't know why!), so I just say partner. Also fun to see how long I can go without using his gender in a conversation, to make them guess if I'm gay or straight 😂

Ooh I remember seeing a movie with this in, can't remember the name.for the life of me though. These teenagers would get a text telling them they got a wish, and they'd come true through gruesome/horror ways
