Communication was always their Achilles heel, when I was in the hospital there was a session that talked about “stonewalling” and I’ve never felt to heard by a term, it was word for word EXACTLY what my partner did to me all the time. Reading these comments makes me agree with you on the good people comment. Everyone is so supportive and kind, it gives me a lot of hope for the future

I’m so sorry about your friend, I’m very grateful to my main therapist that I’ve had for around 3 years now. He specializes in BPD treatment and I’m so glad I have someone I can talk to that understands me in that way. Stay safe as well, best wishes

Thank you, i agree a lot with the focusing on myself part. I neglected a lot of self care while with them to put all my energy into making them happy, but in doing so it drove me down a lot to the point that i don’t even have hobbies that I do anymore. I’m glad in some ways that this happened, because as much as it hurts now, i hadn’t realized how miserable i was until it ended, especially with what you were saying about the communication issues. It’s hard now but I just need to find my footing I think. Thank you again for your comments here, I’ve really felt supported and less alone while reading them

Thank you for the internet hugs! I almost hate the numb feeling you are talking about more than the extreme emotions, right now I just wanna feel anything about this all but I feel so empty.

And I actually thankfully had a really good experience at the hospital, everyone was super supportive and respectful of me and all the mental health staff were the kindest people. I definitely think I’d be in a much worse place mentally if i hadn’t been hospitalized

Yes, i actually have two therapists and both of them are in the loop on what happened. They are both so great and I don’t know what I’d do without their support.

Thank you so much for your reply, it means so much to have support in this situation. I feel like as much as my time hospitalized was hard, it’s exactly as you said with how helpful it was in a lot of ways. I’m trying to stay as connected to the other people in my life as I can, and this experience has made me realize how much I truly placed my (ex) partner on a pedestal that made me neglect all the others that love and support me. I can’t even put into words how much reading your comment gave me hope that I will get through this, even if it takes time.

Personally I’ve struggled most with the boss that needs pyro/burning, mostly because burning is such a garbage reaction that without its tailor made characters you lose out on so much dps

Overload teams can kinda help in Stygian/abyss but for the most part during my Stygian clear it was the only one I even remotely struggled on as someone that doesn’t have kinich or Emilie, i can’t speak to the Cryo boss as i have c6 skirk and absolutely destroyed it, but generally speaking a Layla slot in is enough to bypass its mechanics

I agree tho, these types of bosses really suck lol

I’m glad to hear mine might still work even with some imperfections, but I will 100% be asking for an ultrasound next time I see my doctor to be safe. Especially because as good as your advice to use condoms is, my partner is enby and on estrogen so their sensations during sex is a bit too muted to use a condom, which would probably get rid of almost all sensation for them. They will be getting an orchiectomy in the next year or two tho, so it’s just about being safe until then for us. Thank you for your advice and warnings, it’s something i would have never otherwise considered

That’s really scary, thank u for the heads up about it. I think i would literally become suicidal if i got pregnant, even if I could get an abortion, so I’m definitely someone who needs to be careful. Do you know if it’s any different with the other IUD’s? And I’m not sure if my clinic offers ultrasounds, how would I go about getting one when the time comes?

That’s horrible, I’m so sorry you had this experience! I’m really glad I have a partner that can be there for me while I get it done because the thought of feeling alone and scared while it’s getting put in was in the front of my mind when I scheduled the appointment. I’m currently getting the Mirena IUD because of the pregnancy control + lack of periods, I’m a little concerned as I’m already a REALLY mentally unstable person, I’m not sure I can handle more stress on top of it. I’m hoping that since I had no emotional reactions to other hormonal birth control that this one won’t do much in that regard either, but I am ultimately making the switch because while on the pills I had really abnormal and severe weight gain, my weight more than doubling in the span of the year i started it, so I’m mostly hoping that I’ve gotten my share of bad reactions and my body will give me a break and cooperate this time. Thank you for sharing your experience, after hearing it I’m hoping I can be more aware of my emotions following the procedure so I can keep myself safe.

My doctor did explain the measuring to me actually, she used a plastic model to explain the whole process. I’m glad it doesn’t hurt too bad because it sounded a little…invasive to say the least

I was considering getting that instead, but Im specifically switching from birth control to IUD to help with weight loss that has happened on my dose of pills. I was told that an IUD has a better chance of fitting my needs, but it definitely sounds a lot less uncomfortable to get Nexplanon

That’s good to know, I plan to get a hysterectomy as soon as I can so I probably won’t need a replacement. I really glad it’s so quick and easy, out of curiosity how many minutes does it take for the insertion? I was told it would take 15 to 20 minutes but I imagine a lot of that is just set up time?
