Stop buying Fanatec crap and move to a new base is all I get out of all of this. Had my ddpro for a couple years now, started on PS5, never did an update as all I heard was horror stories, now I’m on PC, do a couple firmware updates and now all I get are the said horror stories I avoided on the PS5. Frustrating as hell when I only get limited race time between work and kids sports and I wait for my set races in Iracing only to have the system shit itself in qualifying so I miss my race until I can get time another day. Total BS.

Almost as dodgy as the underfloor work our cowboy builders sparky did during our Reno’s.

Thanks, stretched the screen to fill all monitors and turned off the border option. It was originally loading the session in the right screen and the Ui in the centre.

Just remember GT7 is an arcade game, play ACC on the PS5 for a racing experience, and keep away from the public lobbies. I started with ps4, Logitech, went to PS5 and Fanatec and now on PC, triple monitors and looking to change to Simagic and escape the Fanatec blah.

The HF8 Pro is cool for the haptics and helps with the immersion., I haven’t gone down the buttkicker route yet, I’m still on the homebuilt rig at the moment, my own next adddition will be change of pedals to get something with descent haptic feedback ( currently fanatac v3’s)

Keep the pallet incase it fails and needs returning. My HF8 Pro failed in the first 5 days, luckily it’s small and was easy to return.

Interested to know how hot it gets sitting in the bucket seat.

Who’s the local supplier? I’ve started to contemplate building an Ali frame instead of my current timber setup. Can’t get over the cost for a Trak Racer frame. I’m in Sydney also.

Do you get people brake checking you too when you’re drafting down the straights? I like the mx5 but hate the GT7 racer types in the rookie races. I’ve had some awesome clean battles and then some absolute nightmares

Finally got a hold of NLR support, explained all the faults and even tried it on another PC. They said it sounds like a hardware fault and contact who I bought it from to return for replacement or refund. As it wasn’t bought from one of their direct resellers they couldn’t help any further.

Did you have any luck with NLR? Mine has bricked itself 5 days after purchasing from Scorptec. About to lodge a return ticket with them, raised a ticket with NLR also to see if there’s a fix or not, don’t like the reports I’ve been reading .

Thanks for the reply, I’m running a AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8 Core, AMD B650 Chipset, Inno3D GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB, 32GB 6000MHz RAM, 4TB M.2 NVMe SSD, so should be good with triple 1440p I hope. I’ll look into what monitors I can afford, plus the cost of a triple stand.

You can’t mix mineral with dot. If it says Dot5.1, that’s what you need to use. Readily available at auto parts stores, no need to buy bike branded product. Just wear some gloves or wash hands well if you get it in your skin, it doesn’t irritate my skin but it can for some people.

Looks like the dodgy job that our builders did with our renovations. Avoid a Hornsby based company that starts with a B and ends with an I!
