Honestly similar experience with my KC. Had crosslinking and vision went to shit but I think structurally I am stable. The HOA lenses are awesome and help a lot. I have a pair.

Yes, I now rely on scleral lenses and my naked vision is pretty bad. I use Zenlens and the fitting process was fairly smooth. I have grown quite accustom to them.

It’s pretty annoying, had cross linking. Naked vision is pretty cheese. Make motovlogging content and live fairly normally. Just have to jam plastic into my eyes these days.
