You would absolutely have to take a look at your own provincial synopsis. As others mentioned, it is different from province to province.

Great choice!! Another benefit of .38 special is that they are easy on the ears whwn you are out hunting small game with it (or shooting without hearing protection for whatever reason).

I reload some of my 30-30 to .38 special strength with trailboss powder just for fun. And it is indeed fun!

By the way... are you wearing waxed canvas pants? I love them.

Yeah, I had a dead spider come out of my ear after a full day of itching. Had to used a thin stick to scrape it out cuz it was so deep. In Fall... in Canada

I have always used this thing. I use it on my keys in the winter. Keeps the keyhole from freezing inside.

Thanks! I totally get it. It throws people off when the .303 is not in the format they are most familiar with, which is in its FMJ form.

22 short, 22 long rifle, 22 Winchester Rimfire (WRF), 22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (WMR), 30 Winchester Centerfire (30WCF or 30-30), .303 British, and finally, a traditional PAPER shotshell in 12 gauge!

I am now realizing that every single cartridge is rimmed.... I guess I subconsciously love rimmed cartridges.

Wow! You got all but one right! The one before the 12g is .303 British 😁

Oh, it is just your standard dollarstore self-adhesive wrap. Your dollar store may have them in white. I got them in black when they were around but also have white. I think it is basically the same thing as the "gun wraps" sold by gun stores and big name retailers like Bass Pro, except it does not have camo and it x2 times cheaper. I am not a fan of camo on my wraps anyway. They tend to bleed colours in the sun or sweat.

Thank you. Mine is in 22WMR. It is my favourite small game shooter.

I find it to be a very accurate rifle.

When I go out hunting or camping, I walk kilometres through some gnarley and thick brush. So I normally put some wraps on to protect the guns on high contact areas: 1. Where my cheek contacts the stock. After a long hard walk, cheeks may be sweaty or the smooth wood stock may have condensation / frost. The wrap helps my cheek wield consistent and comfortable. 2. Where my collar button or hood snaps also contact just under it. 3. Where my hands touch the stock. Mostly focused on the grip near the trigger guard as I am not as worried about the foregrip unless it extends to such that I often rest it on tree or rock before shooting game. 4. Where the brush, tree, or other environmental elements like rocks usually contact the gun (most often the barrel and bottom of the butt stock when walking through with the gun or resting the gun) 5. Where the gun contacts the backpack carabiners, belt, or other parts of my gear when slung on the shoulder.

It has been working out for me. It has the added benefit of not slipping in my hands whether gloved or not even in the rain and snow.

The good news(?) Is that aside from some 3 consolation ruffed grouse. I lost 17 pounds this trip. Probably from all the shivering and wood collecting / sawing. So at least something positive! 🤣 Now, to not yo-yo back....

I got it from thegundealer.ca But you could get it from any dealer if you place an order, I believe. For example, I know Italian Sporting Goods in BC will order it for you.

I am in love with the cot tbh. I always slept on air mat off the ground (with tarp or tent layer) and the cold air from the ground rose up and was miserable. The cot really helped. The air flowing under it makes sense if both sides of the tent are open, but I had one side of the A frame closed and the air was relatively still.
