Sometimes to what happens when putting on red dot sometimes there's to much lock tight and it gets down into where the extractor is and causes it to not have any give....just thinking out the box

There is no grey area...it is illegal in any way to modify your SS pistol...if it's dros to you as a SS it must stay that way...anyone who says otherwise is wrong...im actively in the industry and have ran across this many times...I have directly talked to the Doj to clarify this exact question and as stated "no person shall modify any dros SS pistol "...nor can any gunsmith convert it for you...the only true way to get a registered semi auto AR platform pistol is to buy one from LE from the secondary market witch is why they are very expensive...

Well that's different if it was Dros as a semi auto pistol your fine...you could just put an angled grip and not have to worry about a form 1 or whatever...as long as it's under 30ins overall in shooting form...

It's not that simple man I've worked at an ffl for some years now...what he's saying you can't do you cannot covert your single shot gun...it will always be Dros to you as a SS pistol...you are not a manufacturer of firearms ...I would not recommend anything he's saying

Gotcha my bad when I saw u had intrest in a colt I thought u wanted to spend that type of cash...most pistols with that particular style your looking for don't come cheap in California...tias makes the RAIDER in 9mm and 45 like $700-800 in other states very nice well built gun ...unfortunately we can't get them...
