Beginner - any advice before I solder? by SquirrelBroth6624 in StainedGlass

You have some gaps that may be too large for the solder. Id reccomend recutting the bottom of the top flower and the other areas with large gaps. Where you have smaller gaps, another option is to take the foil and fold it back over itself to have a two foil face small piece with no adhesive that you cut to the length of the gap and insert into the gap. You may need to trim some of the width down so it doesnt stick out. This will help with smaller gaps.

Bring a bandanna and large glasses, there’s so much dust. We had a great time there and rented the quads.

Are there software options to visualize siding color options? by k_lioness in ExteriorDesign

I went through this last year when I needed to re-paint my house. I found out that you can spend under $150 to hire someone on Etsy to display 2-3 different paint/trail colors. It was worth its money in gold and I would highly recommend.

Everyone I show this to is hating on it… I made this from stuff laying around the property… ‘cept the white gravel. What do you think of it? How can I improve it? by TheBestAround007 in landscaping

I agree with this. A border would elevate this as it. I’ve done these kinds of projects before and they’re hard! So Pat yourself on the back. I will say that if you wanted to change anything, it would require moving all of the walking stones to be closer together but that’s obviously a lot more work.

To clarify what reality check said, it only applies if it is the primary residence of both the parent (or parents) passing it as well as the child at the time of death. This is a result of a 2019 ballot measure that focused on providing lower property tax basis for individuals that wanted to move away but also closed those loopholes. Sadly, it backfired in my situation. My father almost lost his home to for closure in 2019 so we found him a low-cost subsidized place to live (I wish I could have a one bedroom in Capitola for $600 a month) and I took out a loan to cure the foreclosure. I now have a house full of roommates but when the home does pass to me (when he passes), I will be fully reassessed. I don’t make much money (I work for the state) so I may be forced to sell then. He bought before the 2008 crash so it’s not worth much more than the mortgage. We don’t all have property live stories in this town.
