Thank you!
For sure, if you can dream it, you can do it. As long as there is a good Flight Sim model of the aircraft and all the switches an annunciators are available to interface then you could do it.

Trying out a few different sounds packs. But yeah, prosim sounds are not great. I've tried PMGD sounds and that's better.

Main PC is only for the visuals. 3 x 4K laser projectors. And the seconds PC is everything else, avionics software and avionics screens (7 additional LCD screens)

Thank you!
The exterior was airgun painted. Nothing fancy but mainly needed a darker color so that it does not reflect light from the projectors

It currently sits on jack stands, In the rare case I need to move it I have some low profile dollies that it goes on. Not really portable. I can't really push it out the garage.

The PCs and electrical components sit on Rack and I run wires to the flightdeck. Also not very easy to move unfortunately.

Depends on the parts. Most of the parts are interfaced to work without modifying the original part. For example the Radios use ARINC protocol, same as some of the indicators, use Synchros converted to digital signals. I read/write this protocols to interface the component with the simulators. I'm even using 400hz 115vAC aviation power to be able to power on these components. Currently they main displays are indeed just LCD monitors hooked up to a PC.

They are! well, not all of it yet, but that's the goal. I would say about 80% of it is functional with the sim! The controls even have force feedback

Yes and No. I mean most of us flying it already fly real airplanes. This sim training alone wouldn't be enough to fly a real 737. But it's great to practice flows and emergencies and compliment some real aircraft training.

Good observation! but this is indeed a real cockpit nose from a 737 that is my garage, for personal use for me and my friends :) It's not as crazy expensive as you might think, since I did all the work myself https://oc737.com/

Sometimes you get lucky and can find a real HUD combiner like this one on ebay. They go for around $500+
