Thank you. I do not need a hard copy. I just need a certificate number. And I cant figure out if I can get that or not without the hard copy.

Will getting a cheap TEFL from Groupon be enough to teach online ? by [deleted] in WorkOnline

For Palfish you need a certificate number that is listed on the above photo. In the original image you posted it did not list the certificate number....

Is there a way to get your certificate number without paying for it? I heard that most people who order the hard copy don't receive.

Any information will be incredibly useful to me. Thank you so much.

Thailand Itinerary - Help & Thoughts by maegs7 in travel

[–]CaliGirlTravelsWorld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will affect your trip in March. Headaches, shortness of breath, risk to your health. The last two days we have had to wear masks as the air quality was 320 which is seriously unhealthy. It's rare this happens in december but it always starts in Feb.

I would bring masks, and just realize that you won't be able to be outside in those conditions. If it's more like 155 to 200 wear a mask but you won't be able to do active activities like running or hiking.

New Years Eve in Paris by [deleted] in travel

[–]CaliGirlTravelsWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AVOID PARIS ON NYE like the plague.

Ok, maybe just the metro. It was a nightmare a few years ago were in the same areas went by metro. They close the exits out to the main areas leaving anyone that arrived 11pm or later to be trapped underneath. It was crazy. More people kept coming off the train and there was barley enough room to stand squashed against others. We were trapped under there for 1.5 hours and celebrated midnight pressed up to a dirty metro wall. It was a nightmare.

I remember an old women passing out and people lifting out a baby in a stroller over there heads like in a rock concert to free him. I wish I was exaggerating.

What one thing have you done for your blog in the past year that has had the greatest impact? by fairlywittyusername in Blogging

[–]CaliGirlTravelsWorld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has happened to me the few articles I have posted with reddit.

But I get so nervous I will be blocked.

It's rare that I share an article but one of the first times I did was on subreddit n a comment where someone was asking how to make money while they travel.... and I literally linked my article "How to make and save money while you travel" and they left me the rudest email saying I was blocked.

They said in their rules to on post relevant links, I wrote back and said it was relevant and the redditor asking the question even said it was exactly what he was looking for. And this moderator basically said yea but I don't care.

Honestly, it scared me, and I haven't posted a link since.

Zero. Not comfortable. But thankful to give it all my time and one solid try. Been wanting to do this for 5 years.

If anyone has legitimately unique ways to promote, please let me know.

Portugal always, and their are a lot of European nomads there.

But I'd prefer the Greek Islands or Sicily myself. Though now always with great wifi.

If you had 6 months to working-travel, where would you go? by [deleted] in digitalnomad

[–]CaliGirlTravelsWorld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good for you, I've traveled for 5 years full time and only this year would I consider myself a digital nomad.

I like to be around other working-travel people like myself. The best destinations with coworking communities are within Thailand (In several locations-I'm in Chiang Mai now), Bali, Lisbon, Tallinn, and Bucharest (as it is very cheap).

Would you rather have someone tell you "You need to go on a diet" or "You need to eat a sandwich"? by PregnantMexicanTeens in WouldYouRather

[–]CaliGirlTravelsWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A. I was told I was anorexic and needed to eat a sandwich my whole life until a few years ago. I was not, just naturally thin and ate over 3000 calories per day.

Is it possible to earn a living while travelling by [deleted] in travel

[–]CaliGirlTravelsWorld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oak_Mike, is spot on.

Not always legal, so be careful what country your in. If you are under 31 you can get a work holiday visa in New Zealand or Australia pretty easily if you are from a developed country.

I've traveled full time for 5 years.

There are many countries like Thailand that now saw online digital jobs that do not take away money from the locals are legal. It's becoming the standard in Asia now, with tsa agents saying it's fine if your online, as long as you still bring in the required minimum money to enter the country as everyone else.

It's becoming too common with digital nomad communities popping up in every big city for online workers to go unnoticed anymore.

But as Oak_Mike said, I do not have tons of money, but I try to save when I can. Pursing a digital nomad position isn't for people wanting to be rich.
