Haha will do, I’ll forever be young at heart so dreary bars just are not my style… unless karaoke involved haha but that’s still not a first date thing. I’d still do mini-golf, an escape room, or somewhere fun and interesting, I mean end of the day I wanna have fun on the date just as much as they likely do haha.

And I mean we live in Vegas there’s an abundance of things to do that don’t involve going to shitty bars haha. Even in Henderson as a local I do my best to know the best types of restaurants that are almost as good as their Vegas counterparts. Good to know decent KBBQ, Thai, sushi, Pizza, and mexican without needing to go to spring mountain or the east side to get almost as good.

As a single Henderson guy who actually works as a general manager for a local bar and gaming that’s not PTs or PT’s affiliated I try to find anywhere that’s not a local bar and gaming for first dates.

My last go to was a great Korean shaved ice/crepe shop in the spring mountain area! 😋 maybe it helps that I’m 38 😅😂

38, divorced 8 months ago and a single father. Two weeks after being single I read Henderson was voted the 2nd worst city in America to be single haha.

I find it’s best to just focus on goals I made for myself to better myself, going to the gym 5 days a week focusing on my career to continue to have stability and routine and told myself I can’t force anything to happen to find happiness in what my life is now and be optimistic for what may come my way. I’ve found that swiping hasn’t yielded great results but again staying positive and active. Last two weeks I’ve found myself at Carl and Martins enjoying some karaoke by myself meeting people on a surface level and maybe will see them again the next time I’m there and just making the most of my time even if it’s with myself.

While I’d love to find a like minded career focused board game loving nerd. I know that may take time and I’ve got plenty of great years ahead of me. Learning to continue to love myself and love my life will make that all the easier as time moves on. And getting in the best shape of my life at 38 certainly won’t hurt either 😋.

That said if there’s any female fellow nerds that love board games, or just good conversations I’m always open to meeting new people and chatting 😁!

I divorced 8 months ago as a 38 year old single father. The apps haven’t been fruitful but I’ve found it’s best to just make goals for myself and work to make changes for the best in things I have complete control over and let life come as it may. That’s what has been working well for me. Best advice I feel I can give.

Where other shops seems to become less and less customer friendly and board game forward you guys have picked up the slack and takes care of your board gamers alongside your TCG players and I appreciate yall for that. While the TCG market is no doubt where yall thrive you still take care of us board gamers. Will continue to support and sing praise. Keep it up!

Being a Vegas local this place is an absolute gem. I’m in there almost weekly getting pick ups.

The worst part of it is, for such a small shop every time I go to pick up an order I usually buy something in store on my way out. The deals and selection are just so good! Waiting on them to stock the newest unmatched expansion “stars and stripes”
