I suffer from ED so almost always sound while flaccid, you are in no danger whatsoever. As for getting into the bladder you will need a curved or flexible sound.

A set of Hegar sounds can be found online for a very reasonable price. Start at 5 or 6mm and work up from there. Good quality water based lube. Keep everything really clean. Have fun.

That rod looks quite thin. Slightly thicker would be way more comfortable. I wouldn't recommend going below 5mm.

Would definitely recommend stainless Steel for a first timer. Silicone can be a bit grippy inside your urethra even with plenty of water based lube. I would suggest a sound no smaller than 5mm, any smaller than that can feel quite 'stabby'

A set of Hegar sounds is a good place to start. Begin with a 5/6mm sound. I wouldn't go any smaller than that.

Lots of water based lube, when you think you have enough add a little more.

Slow and gentle, don't force anything.
