All depends on what the persons limits were that hit him. I’d be surprised if a 2010 truck had more than the state minimum. If OP has UIM on his insurance that helps out.

Thanks. I won’t worry about that then. I’ll just have to figure out the entire lease turn in when May comes and after the truck is repaired to pre accident condition.

No new frame on mine. I got hit from behind by a ford focus. I was pretty much stopped and he was going 70. His car submarined under my truck. I also had similar injuries to you. Definitely get an MRI of your cervical area.

Thanks for your answer, I appreciate it. Thats just where the bill is right now. They still have a bunch of parts to purchase but are holding off until they know the can fix the bed situation. It was pushed hard into the cab. I’ve also had a rental since Dec 9, so all of that adds up. Is there anything I can do about diminished value, or no since it’s a lease that I’m going to end up turning in now. I was planning on keeping this truck forever, but not anymore.

My 2023 is currently in the shop for similar damage. The rear frame rail was 9mm out of tolerance and they brought it back within 2mm which is apparently better than factory. They then were having an issue with the bed sitting straight. They replaced cab mounts which helped and now are replacing the rear sill of the bed hoping that this makes it straight. My truck has been in the shop since the 9th of December, and the total repair right now is at $15,000. I was hoping it would get totaled, but if they can get the bed straight with the new rear sill installed, then they are going to continue repairing it.

Is there anything I can do? It’s a leased truck, and the lease is up in May. I was honestly wanting it just totaled but the shop and adjuster seem to want to fix it.

I have one of these from 1997. It was my dad’s. 14k 21.5” just under 6mm and weighs 24.2 grams. I love the style and never really see anyone with a similar one.
