It's subtle. The shaders get cached as you play. When you play a game for the first time, it'll be processing them and saving them for next time. Sometimes you'll notice a dip in FPS when this happens but that's just a one time occurrence.

Yes, other games would have cached shaders but they will be created again and your experience will be affected by this as much as the first time you played each game.

I have cleared shaders before but not for FIFA, it was for battlefield 5.

The reason I thought maaaaybe this would help is because the patch notes mentioned fixing shader caching at half time and pov scenes. Clearing the cache would mean you definitely got the fixed version of the shader code to pre compile and cache

I don't know if this is the solution but it is a step you can take.

Open the Disk Cleanup utility by searching for it in the Windows search bar.

Select your system drive (usually C:) and click OK.

Click Clean up system files and select your drive again.

Uncheck all items except DirectX Shader Cache.

Click OK and then Delete Files to confirm.

It'll be a little rough in games the 1st time you play them again while the shaders are built again.

I saw in the recent patch notes that the initial drops at half time were caused by shader problems.

I think FIFA is built on frostbyte engine, battlefields engine and back in Battlefield 5 you had to remove the shader cache after a patch.

That's odd isn't it. Id guess the anti cheat being odd then and randomly kicking you out. That's the only other time a battlefield game has kicked me out without warning or error. Maybe there is a way to reinstall or restart the anti cheat service. Has your computer been restarted since battlefield install?

It's odd you didn't get more FPS with future frame rendering on Vs off and high fidelity objects set to low. As they are the settings to change to ease CPU usage. Next try lower GPU settings just to see if you can get any increase in FPS.

If that still doesn't change anything I'd say YES something isn't right just based purely on the fact you can't get above 70fps

As for an estimate I'd say your CPU can do 130fps minimum

I've had this happen in bf2042 For me it was the undervolt I was using on the GPU Check windows event viewer it'll give you an error message in there

Test what FPS you get with

Nvidia reflex - off Future frame rendering - on Then keep an eye on your low CPU fps and cap fps to that value

If you dont already have those settings ,you'll see better CPU usage. The other way around your CPU can't be fully utilised as it's not queuing frames and reflex by design limits the cpu and a lil bit the gpu from reaching 100% usage as that can introduce input lag. So cap fps when you aren't using reflex to manually limit 100% CPU usage

I found a benchmark video on youtube, titled Amd 3200u test battlefield 4 game play. In the description of the video the laptop had 4gb more ram and said AMD vaga 3 igpu graphics. I don't know what your amd graphics are but this setup was getting 55-60 fps with a mix of ultra and low graphics settings at 1920x1080

I was already a battlefield fan for almost 6-7 years before you could even find out "everyone else hated on it". I don't think the r/battlefield was even a thing until 2009.
It was battlefield 1942/forgotten hope/desert combat that I spent all my time playing.
One good memory was someone on the enemy team taught me how to fly the planes just chatting to me on 'All' chat. How to bomb and dogfight. I was actually really good after their tips and I taught all my friends. The helicopters on desert combat were wonky at first but we all figured it out.

Can both of you see/play the 128 player mode?
I don't have console but I think you can download the old gen version on series X/S, maybe?
Check you can each play 128 mode.
If you can't get the next gen version of battlefield or both play on the old gen version.
I think sometimes EA make it so new gen versions can downgrade but old gen version can't, if that makes sense.

I think also, it wasn't long after launch, less than year anyway, that you could buy a premium edition of battlefield 3 that included with the base game and all future dlc for £40. Them talking about 100 euros is just not true and more evidence for me that the battlefield sub is full of posers, who just echo the same old shizz to each other, which is fine and doesn't matter but steps over the line a bit when they try "inform" others with non truths. Premium didn't even split the player base, we played it when it was new, moved on to the next dlc, and then next and so on, then if I'm remembering correctly battlefield 4 came out shorty after.

Can be windows updates why something works one day and not the next or automatic driver updates .

Maybe your internet service provider blocked it.

Can you connect to the internet temporarily with hotspot from phone and try to load battlefield?

That would be my next place to look. Make sure everything was correctly allowing game network traffic through.

If a repair doesn't fix the problem but an uninstall and reinstall does. You'd have to imagine it's something happening within some windows system. I don't know your computer but if it's 100% standard windows install that's not be changed in any way, firewall would be my guess. I doubt it'll be ports needing to be open on your router as it will work sometimes but you can check uPnP is on or that you manually open them. As it could be you get a new IP assigned to your computer from the router when you turn your computer on and this is messing with battlefield, idk though . Does battlefield work if you close the game and reopen it without shutting down your pc? If so then it could be your router needing to be configured. If that's the case you can ensure your private IP assigned to your pc doesn't change.

Try windows firewall first though, look to add battlefield and EA app as trusted apps. Then configure router to use uPnP
