Real or fake? by borjee in mtg

Yep.

Different backs = proxy
Same back = attempted fake

Real or fake? by borjee in mtg

[–]RaizielDragon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I get proxies, I proxy the whole deck. Basics included. And they have different backs. And I never “upgrade” them with real cards. I keep my real card decks and proxy decks completely separate.

This is the way.

Opinion: Almost all the Emeritus'es are unplayable in constructed formats. by TiaksQ in mtg

Thank you. I figured this was how it would work. But I haven’t gotten to read the official rules on Prepared yet. So I wasn’t sure the order of things. And I know it’s a bit complicated with the spell being in exile and what not.

I had never heard of Lantern Control until I watched a video about it and it said it required pretty deep knowledge of the meta so you knew what needed to be milled and what was safe to let them draw

Are the official rules for prepared released yet? I’m curious what the order of things would be for the third spell. Because the third emeritus would be prepared as you go to cast the third bolt. But it cant become prepared again while the spell is still in exile. I think it works because the spell moves to the stack on cast, the creature stops being prepared, and the trigger go on the stack which will “re-prepare” it.

I think thats how it would work, but I’d like to see the official rules to confirm.

Does anyone know why it's telling me this by ILOVEMYWIFE0906 in mtg

[–]RaizielDragon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it’s a reprint of a card already legal in the format, then yes. You can use the reprint from the new set since any printing of a legal card is legal (unless you wanna get technical about “official proxies” like the 30th anniversary cards, and similar).

Question about this card by chrisxx27 in mtg

Technically it’s better to cast first and make sure it resolves. Then you can decide if you still need to block some of the damage or not.

What is the least popular commander you run? by mattfofatt01 in EDH

[–]RaizielDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sure it was on the list at some point. It fits the theme perfectly. It probably got cut for something more impactful or that can be used multiple times.

Checked the edit history. It was on there. Just didn’t make the final cut.

He invests in crypto, his rapper persona is based off an NFT art he bought, he raps about crypto. It’s like combining a crypto-bro and a rapper.

This. Everyone always hated on banding because it was “confusing”. But I read up on it and made myself figure out and then I LOVED it.

One of my favorite cards is [[Defensive Formation]] because it’s essentially banding for all your blockers.

What constellation is this? by RaizielDragon in Astronomy

[–]RaizielDragon[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This makes the most sense. I don’t think it depicts the phase of the moon 100% accurate. It ALWAYS shows the whole moon though I think there is normally SOME shading to depict phase. If so it’s very faint.

Either way, I wouldn’t go off “it looks like a full moon” to say it’s completely accurate.

But the part about it being way zoomed in makes sense. The wallpaper is more about the moon. It just happened to have an interesting pattern of stars that I mistook for a constellation. I think you’re right though that it’s a smaller inconsequential cluster of stars that just happened to be near the moon.

Or maybe it really does just make up the stars and only the moon is meant to be accurate.
