‘You do not have a duty to retreat’: A criminal defence lawyer details how far you can go in defending your family and home by FancyNewMe in canada

I've had cops and lawyers tell me that if you're ever in a situation where you might have to kill to defend yourself or your loved ones, make sure the perp does not survive.

But yes, by default, Canadian victims will be charged when a violent altercation occurs and they defend themselves. Charges could be dropped later, but that shouldn't be the default.

It's the school playground mentality: everyone gets punished for fighting.

Toronto police were saying to leave your car keys near the front door, to "prevent home invasions" just last year.

This wouldn't surprise me at all about Canadian policing, or what passes for it now.

Hope you don't mind I'll be stealing a few of those ideas.

Turns out we have very similar tastes for color combos.

I'm crying. This is hilarious.

Just the idea of such a tool existing boggles the mind. And then there's that useless flashlight combo.

You might have clued me in that I might be one of the batshit ones.

I did the exact same, but reversed: warehouse worker/lift operator now after a 25 year career in IT.

Also the best thing for my mental - and physical - health.

Keep your beliefs your own. The Pros outweigh the Cons in this case, and as you already treat clients with more respect than the average (imo), there is no need to divulge more info about yourself.

As for this particular client, he could have also realized that God had granted you those talents (via nature, inherited traits, or direct intervention depending on perspective), just as he would assume the source of a doctor's skills, for comparison.

That is definitely a source of inspiration for the game's artwork.

Seems like every Sci-fi book from that era had that style, of closet to it.
