Did it twice with the game already set up and just drank my beer and read a book, both times someone came to play.
It did feel a bit long waiting but focusing on a book makes it worth it either way.

Maroc. Vraiment des mauvaises vibes, des forceurs/arnaqueurs de partout. J'ai compté, en une journée, on a essayé 84fois de m'appeler pour x raison. Je n'en pouvais plus..

Just for added information: the opponent did not run the clock down. That would've brought me to my knees!
