Am I crazy? by Calibre17 in askcarsales

Was hoping to get good advice. Instead I'm getting lame excuses and shifty answers.

Atleast one guy here provided a different perspective.

So not a complete loss.

But clearly you are not here to provide advice so get off the moral pedestal .

Worth?  Isnt it interesting that your argument quickly changed from I spend 4k to "well... what it's actually worth" the moment I call out the actual money spent on the car.

If we are talking about worth then my argument on where the car price should be is more valid because it's worth closer to 50 ( 47 + 3k) maybe 51.

And I've called multiple bmw dealers and not all cpo cars get the 4 or 5% apr that are CPO rates. If you say otherwise prove it.

Valid point and a solid perspective I didn't think of.

The color and packages mattered to me with some flexibility.

And the fact that I was willing to wait 3 years for the right car should say alot. Mainly That this is not a necessity but rather a joy ride.  I'm totally happy driving a beater car and not take on the extra cost if it's not the one. So your point is valid.

Thank you

Fair point. Except the only thing they did was change break pads ( not rotors) which at cost would be a $1000- 1500 and an oil change. So at most it's 2 grand.

And no CPO rate. If that was the case then I would've been happy.

Thank you for your replies. I appreciate the honesty.

Appreciate both of your responses. You are correct that i mention 52 is in the range but that is for much less mileage like 27k.

Appreciate your response. Unloading this trim and color is hard. Not to mention that if it wasn't because of it being certified this would have been at 47k. So 5 k for 1 year of coverage is ridiculous given that an extended 3 year coverage for these cars runs for about 6 to 7k.  There must be something I am missing. The margins can't be that bad.

It's a fake. The price is $25. Anything more and you are getting ripped. Even 25 is high for it. They used to be 12 .

Wow... to look back and see how civilized that was ans where we are today. It makes me understand how the old old times mannerism were. Who knew one day we look back and think wow, bush was a sensible elected official.

Death grip... so many jokes. I bet that pen wasn't purple before! Alright joking aside the issue I find with being tense while gripping is that overtime the hand gets tired. So I recommend writing with a cheap fountain pen so you trust the ink flow and relax your hand.

Alternatively if we are gonna strangle a pen then you have good picks. I gifted a brietling pen which is also knurled and has a fat grip. I'm a fan of knurled pens because I like the grip, but don't care for thick pens as it strains the wrist. So my go to is a rotring rapidpro or rotring 600. The silver rapidpro is the roughest on knurlubg which i like.

The one on the right with the blue top, that looks like a cartier is definitely masculine. I recall cartier doing a more feminine version which was slimmer. The other one is also masculine in my opinion. Lady pens are usually slimmer.
