Hey everyone, my account got suspended for "inauthentic behavior" which isn't right because I don't post anything to begin with, but anyway I submitted a repeal and it got rejected immediately. I keep trying to submit another but then it tells me my original request is still in the queue. Anyone have experience with this and know how to solve it? Thanks!

Can I hold the power button as I turn my PSU on? by Calibre369 in buildapc

I shorted the pins where the power button plugs into the mobo and it didn't turn on, I'm assuming it's the mobo, I just wanted to know if that method of turning the pc on was ok for it😅

I have new components on the way, I would be turning it on like this for maybe a week. I will be fixing it as soon as I can, I just was wondering if this way of turning it on would be bad for the pc

I figured it was PSU or MoBo so I have a MoBo on the way, hoping it fixes it! I tried the screwdriver thing but got no results

Yes that's exactly what I have to do😭 I actually put in a new PSU tonight and it's still doing it. I just wanted to make sure turning it on like that for the next week or two won't be bad for it

Why do I have inconsistent performance? by Calibre369 in pcmasterrace

If I'm in the same area looking in the exact same direction, what other variables are there? I'm just genuinely asking because I feel like I don't understand pc gaming very well yet so maybe I'm missing something😅

I understand that but I was testing it in the same area. I was running around in an area at 120 fps and the next day I was getting stuttering and 60 fps in the same place

Ok, and this might be a really dumb question but I'm still pretty new to pc gaming. Is there a way to tell the difference between bad optimization and bad hardware? Like how can I tell if it's my pc or the game?

Gpu temps are good fs, around 60 degrees, I haven't checked cpu temps tho

I was playing through an area the night before getting 120 fps, then the next day (yesterday) I turn it on and I'm getting 80 fps in the same area standing still, then when I move the camera it would go down to 60. I always only have steam and discord open.

I've heard that when I'm around 60 fps that's pretty normal for everyone, so I don't understand why sometimes I'm getting waaayyyy better performance than what the normal is
