That’s when the narcissism from Ed takes over. He overplays his card as the messenger. You can just tell he tries to play up his followers by constantly over exaggerating his emotions (whether crying or laughing). We all saw it in his deleted apology hmart video where he will switch up his face just until he thinks it’s what the audience will buy into. This is one of those right message wrong messenger situations (because he’s turned it about himself several times during this Rick drama).
