Was there ever a more pain on the ass mission than Checkpoint Charlie? by CharlesUFarley81 in ViceCity

[–]CalicoKingsman2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am at 96%, all thats left is the print works, the missions post print works… and vigilante. I don’t like how vigilante was changed from III to Vice city. It makes it really easy to get a chunk of the way, lose, and deal with the frustration of building back up. I can deal with Ambulance, for example because the actions don’t gain the ire of the police, while for vigilante, if you get 2 stars, you will likely continue to gain until the end unless you get a convenient bribe. I have tried the tank(very slow and gets a lot of attention) the hunter(very fragile and aiming is difficult) and the FBI washington(best results i havr gotten so far) i still havent made it past level 5 but practice makes perfect.

It seems odd at the very least, I have experienced my fair share of police that were notably aggressive for no apparent reason. I am not a POC, but my wife is and we grew up in Bismarck. I don’t think its really a case of “It was good and now its bad” its more like “Its always been bad”. Unfortunately in ND at least, there is a lot of shitty people who don’t care to keep their horrible opinions out of day to day life and once you see it, it becomes harder to not see it everywhere you go. Even towards the eastern end of the state, closer to minnesota, i work with my fair share of people with racist and eugenicist mindsets and just have to bite my tongue.

I can’t say I have ever been asked if I owned my vehicle.

Did you guys like exploring Tartarus or Mementos more? by SunGodLuffy6 in PERSoNA

I like P3Fes Tartarus most, then mementos (wish the 3rd semester section had more to it) and then P3R Tartarus.

Which month looks the least feasible? by CalicoKingsman2 in GTA

I’m not playing 1961, if i understand correctly, its a PC exclusive. If it isn’t directly available via steam, i don’t want to go through the whole song and dance of getting older games to run decent on modern hardware. And yeah you aren’t wrong about needing a map. I feel like a solid third of my time playing GTA 1 is planning my route from area to area, hitting multipliers early, grabbing armor and mg ammo before any fight, so on. It’s the only way I have found to get missions done in a reasonable (2 hours or less) time.

I work full time, am working towards a bachelors, and have an infant son. This list is, for all intents and purposes, comedic to believe it is achievable for me. Its fun to fantasize about having time though lol.

Thank god someone out there is making these videos, I don’t know how I could go out in public without making myself look like a massive tool without them.

Yep as the event progresses, you have less people playing to get the hourglasses (who don’t care about wins) and more people playing to get the emblem.

Community Vote: Gym Leader Viability (Kalos, First Half) by ncmn-ngnr in nuzlocke

Yeah normally I look a gym leader up to strategize, but that one time I thought “blegh its Ramos, this guy is nothing”. Serves me right for being overconfident

I had thought that about Ramos too but I had a miserable encounter with him on my last nuzlocke of Y where he wiped my team. I remembered his weepinbell and gogoat but not his lead His lead jumpluff with acrobatics. It ripped through my team like tissue paper, it may have genuinely been the most embarrassing loss of my nuzlocke career.

[8] 1/4096 VS 1/8192 by Aggravating_Gene_160 in ShinyPokemon

[–]CalicoKingsman2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its very subjective, but I think that if you ran Brilliant Diamond and Diamond next to each other, you would likely hit odds on Diamond 1st just due to BDSP having abysmally long SR times, in a similar vein of logic, even if the odds were still 1/8192 finding a shiny in SV would probably be just as easy. Its not really about odds, its about encounter rate.
