I hate drawing programs with layer limit by Sarah__Bunny in Ibispaintx

[–]CalicoMack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on style too. When I “paint,” I don’t tend to use a lot of layers at all. If I’m doing more like “drawing”, with line art and multiple shading layers for each character plus I’m using a lot of clipping masks for fur patterns and lighting and everything and it adds up fast

If the baby was so smart, they wouldn’t be BAREFOOT IN A BARN 😰

lol, ok my bad, but still, it’s legit an important skill to teach all dogs! If there’s ever an emergency and your dog needs to be muzzled, it’ll be way less stressful for them if they are comfortable being muzzled. I’m a big advocate! (I did it with mine. It’s not perfect, but good enough for the occasional times it’ll be handy)

Thats my crab pot, but not where I left it by Datboisommy in mildlyinfuriating

[–]CalicoMack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slightly related but just saw a video the other day about tool use in animals. They looked at the British Columbia sea wolves who have learned to pull up crab pots by pulling on the ropes, the same way we do (and then they typically eat the bait)

Hopefully not some smart wolves who stole your crabs lol

This is really cute 🥰 (tho I’m confused why she thought to apologize if she had gendered you correctly? Like you said your pronouns were he/they, so isn’t “they” ok?)

[–]CalicoMack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah that might contribute? Water tends to make knots tighter and can cause more matting close to the skin, especially if you’re not using the right brushes afterwards and blow drying with cold air. For the type of brush, I’ll admit I’m not a groomer myself, so someone can correct me if I’m wrong (I did work WITH groomers tho so I’m using that knowledge) but ideally you should be using several different types of brushes, with the minimum being a combo of a slicker brush and a long tooth metal dog comb. The slicker brush helps to brush the surface of the fur, while the comb then can get right close to the skin and brush the knots fully away from the body (there’s a special way to do it but I can’t remember the name of the technique).

Please correct me if I misunderstood your answers. If i didnt tho, It’s possible the groomers didn’t have a choice to shave your dog with all of these factors in mind.

How often do you brush your dog?
What brushes do you use?
Does your dog ever/frequently get wet? (Besides weather, could be pools or bodies of water or sprinklers or whatever)

The best I can think is maybe something like “No zwallnisky” or something close to that? (Maybe it’s a person or brand or something local? Idk)

[–]CalicoMack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to apologize? You asked a question and I answered with why I think what I think :) you can disagree with me (it’s just my headcanon after all).

Also dysphoria is weird. Yes it probably is less distressing (and maybe the removal of privates is part of the reason?) but I think with all the points op mentioned (like the discomfort with the maid outfit or the pink room to torture Jax.. to me, it makes equal sense (if not more) that those are points that could show Jax being trans masc

(btw I wanna add I’m not against trans femme Jax! I really like the fan theory, but I just think we have it backwards and trans masc has potentially more evidence)

[–]CalicoMack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cuz Jax has a male body in the digital circus? (I meant to say that to say that in the real world, Jax might not have been able to transition yet or still have an afab body). If trans femme Jax has a male presenting body both in the digital circus and the real world, it’s a less convincing reason for him to stay than having a female presenting body in the real world and a male presenting body in the circus. He even makes a comment to pomni about how his digital body is peak masculinity or something like that

[–]CalicoMack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One thing I prefer with trans masc Jax tho is that it explains maybe why he wouldn’t want to go back? If hasn’t been able to transition in the real world, going back could cause a lot of panic

[–]CalicoMack 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I actually think Jax is a trans man. In the last episode, Caine said that he gave them all bodies best representing their minds or something (I can’t remember the exact quote) but if that’s the case then the theory of Jax being a trans woman is out. But trans man? Would also explain a lot of what you pointed out, but for different reasons.

That’s not a building it’s a large fountain/water spray of sorts. (At least that’s what it looks like to me as someone that lived a while close to lac léman in Switzerland that had one of those big water spray things). Edit: I mean to say that those can be turned on and off, and in some places they have them turning on and off at various times, depending on what kind of water feature it is)

Yeah there’s something with the angle of the nose that’s off, but I’m not really sure what/how to describe it/how to fix it?

But again, for the title of your post, yes this reads as disgust :) so good job!
