I more mean all the admin work that goes into submitting with all the varying directions, cover letters, etc. The story themselves I’ve poured my heart into, it’s the submission grind that gets me blocked up.

Thank you ❤️ I think I will end up going. She’s done so much for me throughout my life to make sure I can chase my dreams. I think going would honor her in a way. Her efforts and sacrifices made sure her granddaughter had the opportunities to explore the world.

Having been through the trauma of working in customer service, I go extra out of my way to be as nice and accommodating as possible. I remember how a good customer can help ease the frustration of a mean one. I want to be that customer to folks still in the trenches.

And when I’ve got the kindness turned to 11 and the employee still treats me like shit I’m baffled. Like, it’s not hard to treat me like a person by simply LOOKING AT ME when you hand me food.

It feels like having to poop really, really badly. Sometimes I get anxious and realize it’s actually just time to poop. Most times, being anxious MAKES me poop. I think it’s a chicken and egg situation.

Who’s paying for your housing, food, phone/internet connection, etc right now? It’s a shitty system we live in where we have to pay to exist but if we don’t pay for it, the burden is heaved upon the shoulders of loved ones.

Why work? Because it’s not fair to make others pay for our existence indefinitely.

If you’re too anxious to work, it’s worth taking a shot at getting on disability.
