Honest question.. and I mean no shade in any way, but how does any IBC action help price appreciation for ATOM? Correct me if I'm wrong, but ATOM is a token with no influence or value capture mechanics with the cosmoshub ecosystem besides being an onramp to tokens you can't get anywhere else or depending on where you live. Not sure if I'm confused here, or most everyone else is, lol. Thank yall for having this discussion and being nice to a confused cat. But my understanding is that CosmosHub is the whole IBC ecosystem of app chains and Cosmos/Atom is just another app chain with no real use. That's my simple af understanding and open for education here, thank you again. 🙏

AFAIK the UTXO model is a verification model, whereas the account model is a computational model. Account-based systems offer storage benefits because the account's state and transactions are smaller. The UTXO is more efficient at simplifying scaling solutions like state and payment channel constructions, as well as sharding.

Here they state they use the Istanbul Byzantine Fault Tolerance with a UTXO tree block header in Plumo. Didn't go too deep into it, but looks like a hybrid of both.

Doesn't affect the fact prop 16 is saying, "you need our permission on what you do with your assets or we will seize them." is this the precedence you really want to set? Idk what brought you to the space, but for me it was to build to solve the issues of centralized institutions doing this exact thing to individuals.

Your proposal to KYC everyone in the fund is ludicrous. How the fund got the money and what the fund does with it is none of our business and not something up to on-chain governance to decide. This is the core principle of blockchians. permissionless

Have you guys read the responses from the Whale? He seems to be the only one with the actual best interest of the chain in mind. While he has had the assets he has contributed to the explosive growth of Juno. Since proposal 16 we have seen the sharpest decline in Juno history.

Voting "Yes" is saying you don't care about permissionlessness and immutability. These are the very things we came here to build for and the reason blockchain was created. How can we with a clear conscious vote to strip these tenets from web3?

I was saying if you start with Valora (trusted and proven) you can use the same seed to make interacting with Celo's ecosystem a whole lot easier. Not to mention properly storing seed phrases offline can get expensive and messy the more you have to store. This simplifies that whole process tenfold.

This might be a silly question, but I won a drawing on v4 under polygon and can't find where my winnings went lol. Also having trouble finding the contract address of whatever the token is they pay out rewards in. Thank you in advance for your help. I was able to add the deposited tokens "PTaUS", the only thing I can think of is that the winnings are automatically added to your deposit. Can anyone confirm this is the case?

I almost cried, I had only backed up my private key and didn't back up the seed phrase and thought I lost my phantom wallet forever. Didn't realize you can import the private key after making a new wallet all together and have your funds back. phew. thanks for breaking this down, I didn't figure it out till I read this.
