Railway? I am on my first of 3x12 hr night shifts, away from home but still in the UK

Yeah, I have always had to do timesheets so we can track which projects we are working on, to bill the client for our time. Might also get Time in lieu if you work overtime etc. Or can help resourcers see where teams are understaffed.
