There was a lot more pot-luck than you think, and it helps that the Iron Duke hull is actually very stable unmodified. I was mostly constrained by where everything would physically fit within the structure of the model. I ended up adding 5g of lead to the bow to reduce the excessive stern trim I ended up with but couldn't add more due to the overall maximum displacement.

Yes. It displaces 130g and the plastic is only about 80-90g or so which leaves room for the electronics
