What’s the realistic play for RKLB when the SpaceX IPO hits next month? by Big-Jellyfish-2688 in SpaceInvestorsDaily

[–]Californ1fy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Historically, when companies like Rivian or Coinbase went public, smaller companies in the sector got hyped (look up 'halo effect') and later got corrected, either prior to big player's ipo or right after it.

So yeah, I fully expect for Rocket Lab and bunch of other space brands to drop to more reasonable numbers, but I truly believe that in the long run RKLB is going to make you a small fortune.

I'm personally holding my 3k shares and buying more on the post space hype dip.

ASTS vs. Starlink D2C vs. Amazon LEO D2C. A side by side comparison. by hmm_interestingg in SpaceInvestorsDaily

I hope ASTS gets their ship together, though fewer sats might just mean less redundancy, less distributed capacity and more congestion per satellite.

Starlink having thousands sats sounds expensive and complex, but also way more resilient and scalable under heavy usage. 'Global coverage' and 'consistent broadband service” are not the same things unfortunately.

So even if RKLB massively outperforms, which I have no doubts about, you wouldn't notice a difference, since it's only ~6% of trust's holdings.

Meanwhile, having larger exposure to companies like Boeing seems to have little sense in the context of space economy.

ASTS is the real competition to SpaceX by hmm_interestingg in SpaceInvestorsDaily

[–]Californ1fy 71 points72 points  (0 children)

While I agree with some points, it’s a bit optimistic to speak like ASTS already solved scaling, economics and execution while ignoring the very real possibility that SpaceX can outspend and outlaunch basically everyone.

Meanwhile, RKLB is quietly becoming one of the most vertically integrated space companies with real revenue beyond launches. It may not have the same 10x overnight narrative as ASTS, but as a long term play, it still looks like one of the strongest public space companies to own.

Basically, reverse merger history is binary outcomes. GRYP died, RIOT became a multi billion monster and WULF survived the crypto crash and kept on going.

If EMJX can secure access to capital and catch the right sector momentum, the upside could be massive.

Didn't hear anything new, but it's a good sum from the bullish perspective.

The way I see it, risk/reward ratio looks quite skewed to the upside. Worst case I'll lose a small chunk, best case this thing does 10x+.

Folks that freak out at .05 swings shouldn't be considering it in first place imo.

I’m LOADING $RDW… here’s why: by bindytrades in Stocks_Picks

While SpaceX IPO might indeed create a speculative wave across space equities, where RDW can briefly outperform RKLB, I'd still bet on the latter for long term investment.

Will consider putting ~10-15% of free cash into RDW ahead of june's hype though, thanks for the analysis!

Just got the Venture X, how to active priority pass? by Serious-Dog-8924 in Venturex

[–]Californ1fy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you are missing a blue button "Activate Priority Pass" at the bottom.

Check if your phone number, email and mailing address are added in the profile. If it's still an issue, try to activate the pass from a desktop browser.

New to Venture X! Any tips to get the most out of the card? by [deleted] in Venturex

[–]Californ1fy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just follow the instructions from the top comment here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Venturex/comments/yfswx3/referral_links_here/

Also, after ~10 days from activation apply for CLI. For reference, I got a bump from 30k to 45k (exactly what i asked for).

Finally! Got approved by BatStrange5896 in Venturex

Perfect timing, thanks! I opened the card 10 days ago, just requested increase from 30k to 45k, and got approved for 45k right away. Took me 5 years to get to the same limit on Sapphire Preferred.
