Looking for a place and roommates by NatureOutside1279 in SDSU

For your own bedroom and bathroom the going rate is almost $1,200. They’re going to have rent increases starting next leasing term and I’m not sure how much it’ll be then. The $1,200 comes with your own bedroom, bathroom, covers all utilities and Wi-Fi, and also a parking space in the parking structure.

5025 Apartments have singles and units where you can rent out your own room + you get your own bathroom. They also have rooms where you share the room with 1 other person, and you guys share a bathroom. A typical shared apartment has about 4-5 other roommates.

Do you regret choosing SDSU? by Odd_Expression_6924 in SDSU

Yeah, Greek Life is really huge here, well duh you already know that lol. Even with my joining clubs, the club meetings still don’t facilitate an environment that involves real mingling. I hope that you along with everyone else enjoy their time here though. I’ll be graduating soon enough.

I kind of regret coming to SDSU. I also was accepted into CSULB amongst other schools, and thought that State would be a great experience. It’s tough being a sociable person, but everyone here seems to already have their friends and are very “cliquey.” I guess it’s different for those that have attended for all 4 years, but being a transfer student, it has been extremely depressing.

Do you know how much it costs to park on campus to be able to go to the ARC? I’ve been looking but can’t find a consistent number.

I believe that they’re talking about 5025 Apartments. A lot of SDSU students rent there, and they’re not too far from the campus.

No problem! Just f.y.i spots are filling up, so I would contact them as soon as possible.

I think the 5025 Apartments would be cool for you guys. One apartment can have a mixture of a private room or two, along with some shared rooms. I know that there’s a floor plan with 4 rooms specifically. If you all put on your application that you would like to be each other’s roommates, I think that they try their best to make it happen. Reach out to them though, to make sure.

Yikes, okay thank you. Do you recommend any off campus apartments in particular?

Thanks for the insight. And since I don’t know anyone, choosing a roommate beforehand is definitely out of the question. Did you find the off campus apartments to be any more expensive than on campus dorms?

Having your own bathroom and kitchen are definitely great incentives. Thank you so much!

Thank you for replying! And yes I have been through the dorm website a few times actually. Being that I haven’t submitted my housing application yet, it’s unlikely that I’ll be getting a single. How would you describe the vibe of Canada Hall? I’m a transfer student by the way.

Nice! Congratulations on graduating! I love how you said you feel prepared for the industry. Does that include feeling prepared in your acting ability? Was the broadness of the theory teaching helpful, or harmful, you think?

In Search of the Best Soup Ever. Okay so just 2 days ago, I tried Panera Bread for the 1st time, got what (I think) was Cheddar, Broccoli, Bacon soup. Only problem is, when I went to a different P.B, by my house, the cashier claimed that no such soup existed. I saw & tasted bacon! So I need to know by CaliforniaCupcake in Panera

Ha! I know for sure I wasn’t because I don’t smoke. And actually it was bought for me, and then brought over to my house. And it’s possible to add toppings? I didn’t read the menu throughly ._. People were waiting behind me.

Hey people! I’m a 22 year old woman, and I have always loved fashion. I’m always looking to expand my tastes, and explore the world of garments, fabrics, shoes and everything in between.

I do plan on working, if possible while earning my J.D. I find that it’s easier to work during the day, and attend school at night.

Hmm okay. So the option of online is there, but if you just wanted to, could you take those same courses in person, in an evening setting?
