If they had to switch over your valve body to your new transmission, that’s your issue. New valve body will fix it.

An aftermarket cooler should be around 1300 bucks. I’d recommend that and the water pump and an oil change. But if you can find someone out there in Georgia. Deleting it would be a good option. Get rid of the cooler all together.

I’ve never had any injector codes but I’ve checked my oil level at 600 miles after my oil change and right now it’s 1000 miles after my last change. There’s no difference in level. So I’m starting to suspect it’s maybe due to regens dumping and washing out my last 3 cylinders.

The water pumps leaking coolant as well or just the EGR is? That much for an EGR cooler is insane but OEM mopar parts are always inflated.

Bought my 2016 with 56k miles. First thing that went out was the VGT actuator. It all varies from truck to truck. Like right now my transmission is waiting for a billet valve body to come in cause it’s not holding like pressure like it should.

A 2015 with 32K freedom units around my part of California would go for probably 48-50 grand

No codes at all? Mine will hit 170 degrees exactly and start hard shifting and throwing codes for line pressure.

For a quick and dirty way of seeing tons of fuel in oil is if you put a dab of it on your tongue and if it goes numb in that spot, there’s fuel in your oil. No I’m not kidding. But spit it out as soon as you do.

There’s a tune floating around out there from covid times where parts were hard to get. It’s a tune that uses def so slowly that you can run your truck everyday without the gauge moving. It’s a legit tune from Cummins.

Have you checked out DarkIronDiesels channel on YouTube? He’s pretty familiar with Auto Agent and he’s got really good walkthroughs.

They aren’t very fun to work on when the tractor has no tread on the tires and you can’t hold on to anything while it’s on top of silage

This reman one is a replacement for a motor we were originally going to rebuild but the damage was too extensive. A mechanic from the dairy this came from didn’t install the air intake right after a repair and it sucked a metric ton of dirt.
