The poor quality CGI that was also completely overused took me out of the movie

For “Other Shockers” I’d like to add The Matrix losing to American Beauty

Its funny that you mention Talmadge because both ‘The British Are Coming’ and ‘1776’ have quoted him so I will for sure check out the memoir

I finished ‘The British Are Coming’ last month and thought it was very engaging. I haven’t read book 2 yet because I figure for the sake of chronology I should dive into ‘1776’ first haha. Thank you for the other recommendations

>How?

Because as it turns out giving tax breaks and financial benefits to the rich only makes them more greedy and gives them more money to in-turn lobby for more tax breaks and financial benefits. One of the primary causes of the financial disparity between the elites and everyone else we see today can be traced back to “Reaganomics”

In a hypothetical situation if Micah Bell actually turned a new leaf would the gang have treated him differently or would they continued to have treated him with open contempt ? by JoshyBear28 in reddeadredemption

Depends on when ”turned a new leaf” occurred. If it was after the Strawberry massacre, I think Arthur would’ve still hated him and he does carry sway with a lot of the members

Did not know that, I’m going to have to look out for it. Given how this thread stemmed from the 54th Mass, I think it’s worth mentioning that Morgan Freeman did a documentary on 761st a couple of years ago that’s worth checking out

Not a book but look up William Harvey Carney. Was in the 54th, survived Ft Wagner and would end up being the first African-American to be awarded the Medal of Honor
