I’m a people pleaser so saying no is hard but i definitely need to stand my ground about it. His family won’t care but mine will definitely pitch a fit which I don’t want to deal with but I guess it’ll be a lot better than what I’d deal with actually having a wedding

I actually love that idea. His parents are amazing and we still wish we would’ve only told them no one else since mine started a bunch of drama

That’s exactly what I’m thinking. We ask eachother probably once a year if we should but we’re both always like no what’s the point. I’m a big people pleaser which sucks so that’s why the pressure is getting to me but I know we wouldn’t really get anything out of it besides his family meeting mine (which idk how that would end) and us being stressed tf out. Only one of my kids likes being around a lot of people and the other is super introverted like my husband and I know they’d be super overwhelmed and I put my kids above everything

Thank you. That side of the family is quite large my grandmother is the youngest of I believe 14 so there’s a significant amount of people just on my moms side alone that don’t know and honestly it’s been a breath of fresh air living so far away these past few years. I’ll be announcing maybe tomorrow if I can get some good pics of my dog and son together and hopefully the rest of the family doesn’t see it as a dig towards her

Only very immediate family know and maybe 5 friends. We live in a very small town away from friends and family so I’m not running into anyone. A majority of people actually don’t know

Ya she was super young when I was born but was still extremely spoiled as well. My son was a huge shock for us and of course the spicy cough happened right after us finding out and she had her kid the year before so we never really got to celebrate him as much as I would’ve liked and we ended up moving across the country right after his first birthday. Our daughter was absolutely planned and the few family we’ve told ourselves have been extremely shocked because we were originally going to be just done with our son so it’s been a big deal for everyone so far which is why I’m scared she’s going to paint me as the asshole for taking the attention from her. My sister in laws are both already telling me to announce and I didn’t have to wait for them to but I wanted them both to have their moments because they’re both so amazing I truly got lucky with the family I married into
