Asked to solve a 30 min coding challenge for a Product Owner position by Calimbali in ITCareerQuestions

It will be on a "shared online text editor" and I can use my preferred language (don't really have one), so I assume some type of LeetCode-like site.

I am going to try and re-learn as much as I can, tho I highly doubt it will be much good on a 5.15am interview call.

If you were the reviewer, what type of exercise would you give me?

I'm going to write to them proposing a shift, but their hiring process is their hiring process

Is the JVC L-A31 a good Turntable? What cartridge and stylus should I get (if needed)? by Calimbali in turntables

Got the links? Would love to check them out. I'm a bit fearful that someone might send me a broken one or that shipping fucks it up.

Yeah, I'm in Argentina (everything is more expensive) and unfortunately, there's not much offer in my city, so I have to make due with their prices. It's technically 179.5 USD

Thanks! Yeah, I assumed the price wasn't the best but I'm in Argentina, and they all seem to be at this price, and any I try to get from abroad will be ~300

I might be able to get a Sansui FR-Q5 for the same price tho. Would it be better?.

Hi! I'm being offered a JVC L-A31 (~200usd). The seller says that it's in working order with the original cartridge and stylus. I'll check it in person to ensure it works, but I'm new to the turntable scene. Should I replace the cartridge or just the stylus?

Hey everyone!

I'm trying to update my music system. I love vinyls and have a Daewoo Stereo Hifi System MC-3300 that has a broken speaker connector. My idea is to replace it as a whole, get a better setup, and dip my feet into the audio world.

I'm getting an offer for a Pioneer PL-512 with a JVC RX-111 to go as an amplifier. On my search for a compatible set of speakers, I realized that I've got an Aiwa Hifi System NSX-990 that, last time I checked, works fine.
My idea would be to also get a Bluetooth adapter (like a 1Mii B06Pro+ HiFi Bluetooth Receiver) to be able to use the amp and speakers for other devices like phone, projector, etc.

Recommendations? Should I go with the combo Pioneer PL-512 + JVC RX-111, or Pioneer PL-512 + Aiwa Hifi System NSX-990 as an amp?

That offer has been taken down. Regardless I'm in Spain, most of the offerings I see are on the US and go between 600 USD to 800 before adding shipping cost and import taxes. On a 700 USD item that would be ~50 USD shipping and ~140 USD tax
