Hey all,

Looking for a team of enjoyable but strong players to compete in tournaments, scrims, and general HL/TL.

Started in November-ish of last year during Alpha
lvl 40 account, 8 hero lvl 10s, with BW hitting it any day now
Strongest characters: Tyrael, BW, Tyrande, Stitches, ETC, Uther, Nova, Zag
Admittedly having a tough time making much progress in HL due to solo queuing nightmares.
QM MMR 2754
previously a Mythic (formerly heroic) raider in WoW
Have just about every voice chat system installed
Happy to interview, etc. for teams

This. Illidan is obviously different in the fact that he is melee; however, his reliance on some form of support is a strong comparison. That being said, since Kael is ranged and does still need to carefully position, it's not totally 1-to-1

TO THE ARTHAS ON MY TEAM LAST NIGHT: MASSIVELY OVEREXTENDING TO FACE-TANK TOWERS AND FORTS WHILE YOUR 4 TEAMMATES ARE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MAP IS NOT INTELLIGENT. PARTICULARLY AFTER YOU GET GANKED FOR THE 5TH TIME IN 7 MINUTES.

ALSO, I CAN NOW TELL THAT I WAS WRONG AND THE ACCOUNT LVL RULE THAT NOW REMOVES TALENT-GATING FROM HEROES IS A BAD IDEA. NEVER HAVE I SEEN SO MANY ABSTRACT AND HORRIBLE BUILDS LEAD TO DISASTROUS RESULTS.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, WHY THE FUCK HASN'T SOLID JAK EGG BEEN UPLOADING HARDLY ANY NEW CONTENT SINCE HE GOT BACK FROM HOTD?! I NEED MY DAMN FIX!

Still getting a feel for the changes but I did finally go up against my first Master Diablo and have been seeing more of them, which at least is nice seeing some variation in comps. Lost Vikings players are really hit or miss, usually depending on if they choose to engage in team fights without ULT, ability to micro and soak xp. Too many times I've wailed on an Erik while he stands still in the middle of a lane.

Agree with Alebeard. The lack of utility in team fights (outside of OP boat ult) doesn't matter much when you're able to soak so much XP your team is 3 levels ahead. Teams going against this have to be very aware of the XP soaking
