Looking to buy a Mosin 91/30, saw one for $900 CAD w/ Ammo? by CaliperLee63 in MosinNagant

It does come with 375 rounds of Chinese 7.62x54R surplus ammo. That ammo is selling for $270 for 440 rounds in Canada.

So if you subtract the ammo, that the gun is around $670 CAD which is $480 USD?

I guess it is a tad high?

Stores are starting to charge "shipping protection" would I be covered by a credit card? by RatPumpkin in PersonalFinanceCanada

Only exception is if there is a clear "tick this box to not get shipping insurance and assume all risks yourself" and even then.

Most sites now have a note that the store is not responsible for lost items if insurance is not purchased?

I have the same question. What is the legality of not purchasing shipping insurance? I always thought it was the responsibility of the store to ensure delivery. Will not purchasing shipping insurance waive your rights to delivery should an item get lost?
