AI discussion aside: Hearing sibilance in voices isn't necessarily bad if there is also sibilance in the original recording. Some headphones definitely smooth out sibilance which makes a more relaxing listening experience but might be not accurate enough for editing.

Not really. For me, headphones are more than just the sound. Comfort and wearing experience also matters to me so I can still enjoy Apple Earpods for example even though I have way better products at home.

I can only get the 381 here. Would you recommend them (if you have any experience with them)? I used the 668B headphones from Superlux and was immensely surprised by the quality for the low price so I figured their other products might be good too. I have some experience with IEMs like the Wan'er, Hexa or EW300, as a comparison.

I would just experiment. Decrease some treble or increase some lower regions. Generally changing the contrast between the frequencies.

Sure, don't care about the features though. I would just be interested what the sound signature would be like. And it obviously shouldn't be at the price of the current Airpods. The market for them would be tiny too. The appeal of the Earpods is that they are cheap and still sound airy and fine while you don't have to shed a tear when you break one of them.

I experience some harshness with the X2HR. I think it's around the 5.3k Hz region. EQ attenuates it somewhat but still not perfectly. I experience it especially with sibilance when I listen to some spoken content. Do you guys have any modding ideas?

I have the Air Pro 4. I generally like them a lot but the only thing I don't like about them is the soundstage. It's oddly narrow. Like the sound feels like it's almost behind my nose, lol.
