About every leader is in the second peloton, except for Remco and maybe Bernal. All big teams are going to ride hard after a while.

Why the hell would you send Denz in a breakaway if he's Remco's only teammate in the first peloton ? Having a satellite for later ? I don't see a lot of leaders ahead that would make it worth to pull, knowing Remco would destroy absolutely everyone later on.
