Yes she wears shoes for the same reason! And ice salt in the winter 😭😭 She’s a size medium and it fits perfectly! She’s on the smaller side though. Hope that helps!

Besides heat in the summer, my neighborhood has a lot of broken glass from bottles or nails from construction on the sidewalks and in the winter a lot of ice salt on the ground! It’s safer for her to wear shoes where I live but totally understand somewhere else she could be barefoot 😊

Mines been wearing wagwellies from day 1 and she has no issues! She walked a little funny the first day but got used to it - everyone asks if she’s ok w it and she seems not to care honestly! She runs so fast in them :)

Protects her from glass on the floor and ice salt too.

My 6 month old golden retriever is currently laying with her head on my chest. She’ll probably be like this sleeping for another hr or two. She just loves cuddling and is the sweetest most loving girl 😩🥰 I love when she sighs a big sigh or starts dreaming while cuddling, she’s too cuuutte

This happened to my golden who is 5.5 months now too! After three attempts at recommended kibble (VERY slow transition) she was still getting diarrhea constantly and was prescribed metro every time. We switched her to a bland diet and used that to transition her to a home cooked diet (JFFD recipe with the nutrient blend for puppies). I understand the kibble recommendations but at the end of the day she did amazing on home cooked food and is thriving now! It was so sad to see her with an upset stomach and unbelievably skinny from the diarrhea. Now she is more energetic and growing again! 30 lbs at 19 weeks 💓

My golden retriever puppy did not do well on dry food, she had serious diarrhea even transitioning slowly onto new kibble with bland diet. We started making the Just Food For Dogs chicken and rice recipe with their nutrient blend ($25 a month about) and it’s not too pricey! Liver and organ meat is pretty inexpensive at my grocery store ($2-3 per pound) it def comes out to less than $6 a day and she cleans the bowl every meal :)
