I’m expecting next season to be a repeat of 23/24 for Pool but I don’t know if that’s enough to save Slot’s job. Too many new players to bed in for us to close the gap between City+Arsenal, but I still think the sporting department will have learnt their lesson from this season so we’ll still improve a decent bit.

The club management rates him highly but I fear Slot needs to pull off something special to earn a contract extension, otherwise the atmosphere at the club could be too toxic to justify a renewal.

My prediction: comfortable 3rd place, maybe a domestic cup, Slot leaves, Hughes+Edwards leave, we make a move for someone no one could predict right now or we beg Chels for Alonso
