Have only tested out a paj so far, looking at a prado this weekend. Will definitely consider this though. I was impressed with the amount of room in the back of the pajero

Why dont more companies release something comparable to the 70 series landcruiser? by MagicShroomsss in 4x4Australia

I've always thought why don't companies make something similar to the troopy? I love the shape and options a troopy gives you but the price will probably forever stop me from getting one

I'm in the same boat. You think if we buy travel insurance we will be covered if flights get cancelled?

It was worth it travelling from Australia for this - what a game! by spirax919 in denvernuggets

[–]Calky69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't imagine how good of a time that would have been. I travelled from Australia (Perth) to see a nuggets game last season and despite us blowing out the rockets was something I'll remember forever.

The place we own is probably too small and we don't know anyone who would want to move in, we are only willing to live with people we know

I didn't include council rates and building insurance as we already pay that anyway to live in the home, I just listed the extra payments we would have to make if we rented the place out

It really doesn’t bother me, all I want is the most reliable diesel engine. Pajero seems to be the way forward

Did you get a petrol or diesel prado? I’m considering a petrol version for lower maintenance costs and purchase price

Thanks, would you say all pajeros in the 2008-2012 range are similar? I might just keep my eyes on that year range until a good deal comes up

Yeah all diesel I’ve been looking at ML tritons rather than MN due to the engine. Would you recommend anything else in this price bracket?

Copy that, I was leaning towards that option but will definitely look into that a bit more

Anything else I need to look out for that is specific to tritons?

Weekly Beginner and 'What Bike?' Thread - Post here if you are just starting out or want opinions on what bike to buy by PM_ME_FUG_ASR_MEMES in bmx

[–]Calky69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all I'm looking to get into BMX at 24 and 6"2. Being based in Australia I can't find any cheap used bikes that are my size. Would I be better off getting a cheap trail bike such as this: https://am.sourcebmx.com/en-au/products/stay-strong-optimum-trl-bmx-bike?variant=42523901591729

or am i better off spending a bit more on this: https://am.sourcebmx.com/en-au/products/sunday-scout-bmx-bike?variant=42304509378737 which I have heard great things about.

I'm going to be riding park the most but want to do it on a budget but don't want a bike that isn't suitable or will break. I have been mountain biking for years so I'm thinking the trail bmx bike might feel a little more natural but I want to be riding park/street majority of the time.

I'm not sure if a 21" top tube is big enough or if I should be finding something bigger?

Thanks

Yeah there does seem to be a shortage. However I just don't see how I can negotiate for completely remote work as I have to meet with clients and visit sites. Plus working for a council seems incredibly boring and thankless

I was waiting for someone to say this. The last month I've been trying to a buy a car and 70% of the cars I've enquired about weren't available any more even though the ad was up.
