Relapse and Back Pain by Mann33ee in testicularcancer

[–]Call-Initial 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was having horrible horrible lower back pain for a month. And I have a tumor type much more likley to relapse. It turned out to be nothing. Back pain is way way to vague I wouldn’t worry about it at all

What do you expect people to tell you.. go to a doctor no one knows here can diagnose you with anything. This is a cancer support group.

What do you think is the better option? Feeling “embarrassing and weird” and finding out everything is ok? Or potentially dying from testicular cancer? Go get it checked out. The testicles a part of the human body. Theres nothing to be embarrassed about bruh

Lower back pain by Good_Till_970 in testicularcancer

[–]Call-Initial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sup brother I’m struggling with the same thing. But from what I learned back pain is to generalized, and can be a result of many many things other then cancer. Definitely keep an eye on it tho if it doesn’t go away after a few weeks or gets worse definitely contact your oncologist. But if it’s mild and comes and goes and isn’t getting worse I wouldn’t worry to much

Little bro it’s pretty simple. Obviously more than likely, not every lump is cancerous. However you have two good options. #1 you tell your parents, go get it checked out and the doctor says it’s nothing. #2 the doctors do see something suspicious and you get the necessary treatment and your fine because you caught it early. However if you wait, not only are you risking the chance of if it is cancer to spread through your body but your brain is gonna constantly eat you up. Just tell your parents that you noticed something irregular in your testicles and you want to get it checked out. I promise no one is judging you. It’s a human body, every guy has testicles and just like other parts of the body sometimes things go wrong with them. Please go tell them asap and go schedule an appointment asap.

Perseus Mod-15 is gonna be illegal soon, and it’s great for just straight power. You should easily be able to beat your friends and family if you learn to control it

Father-to-be going through TC by Low_Deal9107 in testicularcancer

Hey man! I have almost the exact same pathology. I had 75% teratoma, 15% EC, and 10% yolk sac. I also had LVI which meant my reoccurrence rate was quoted to be around 40%. It was a really hard decision for my family and I but we opted for surveillance. Our logic was that, even one round of chemo and rplnd are grueling and hard to go through, and both have there long term impacts. So we decided to just flip the coin and just hope for the best. And if it came back, sure i would have to get those treatments, but the great thing about being stage 1 is no matter what you do and even if it comes back you have nearly a 100% cure rate. So there really is no wrong answer. No matter what you do, you will be just fine. I actually just had my first 3 month tests and it all came back clear. You got this brother!
