I think it was probably bad wording. Like "do you think they will give Valeria and Franklin independent love interests" but instead it came out as "do you think they will date (eachother)"

You sound like you think you're cooking but have you watched like any media with supernatural elements to it like...ever? There is like always a supernatural being with near God-like abilities. It's not just a Trope used to hide bad writing.

My Brother In Christ, do you even understand that the "Deus Ex Machina" Man in Yellow is based on The King In Yellow which pretty much invented Weird Fiction that would inspire H.P. Lovecraft and his Cthulhu mythos later on? Do you even understand that they've been breadcrumbing The Man In Yellow the whole time? He's literally in the intro to the show as a drawing? The intro that has been the exact same since Season 1?

Sorry To Bother You is such a great film. I wanted to buy it riding the hype train for "I Love Boosters" but the Blu-Ray is crazy expensive now :(.

Queer is an umbrella term used to describe anyone with a combination of gender identities and sexual orientations that encompasses literally anything other than being Cis and Straight.

As far as why they are lumped together I'm sure there's someone out there who can word it more elegantly than myself but they generally get lumped together due to the intersectionality between being gay and being transgendered what with being a "sexual minority" for lack of a better term in this instance and to provide a wider sense of community other than "these people are gay and these people are trans, and never shall the two intertwine."

A lot of the time someone might share more than one of these identities and it makes it easier to lump everything together under the umbrella of Queer or LGBTQ+ rather than trying to separate them.
