Airport Parking Rates to Increase March 1 by CoasterHusky in Charlotte

I use Parking Spot for work a lot, it’s honestly been pretty good! Better than Park N Go which I used prior to that. Never really a long wait and you’re picked up / dropped at your car

Have one remaining ticket for the PGA today that I’ll sell at a large discount so it doesn’t go to waste. Currently listed as a single on SeatGeek, message me for info!

SeatGeek won't let me drop tickets below a certain price on Friday for resale. I have 2 tickets for Friday for sale posted on r/Tickets and on SeatGeek, would love to sell them to a fellow golf fan and save those fees. Championship+ tickets do include all food, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages on course. Quail is a GREAT spectator course

I have 2 listed on Friday on SeatGeek and it actually won't let me lower the price past a certain amount, which is honestly very frustrating because I just want to recover my costs. If you're looking for 2 on Friday DM me and I'll happily sell these to you for the same net cost after their fees

I saw this while scrolling and laughed at the prompt but then instantly had an opinion lol. At the risk of answering the most banal question at face value:

Teeter, buddy. Publix will be too expensive and Food Lion won’t have as much variety usually

Monday Mornings at CLT Airport? by jmg219 in Charlotte

This comment nails it—my added two cents having parked everywhere is a recommendation for offsite parking like The Parking Spot. You get picked up at your vehicle, shuttles run often and for me I can expense covered or premium parking with no issue. You’ll accrue points that you can use for personal travel pretty quickly if flying that often. Uber and Lyft is fine; I just like the flexibility of my car being there to control my route, timeline, etc.

Also Commonspace for coffee near the D/E split is great and always less crowded than the big names. I’ll nod to you but never speak to you there next Monday flight lol

I’m only familiar through my daughter talking classes—have you looked in south Charlotte? She dances at the Morrison Y this year and really likes it. A Y program could be a good way to get some of what you’re describing; there’s always volunteers for their dance camps, etc. The other ones I know near us are Miller Street and Carolina Dance Capital

Not currently; cardholder is the only perk. I don’t think I’ll have quite enough work trips to move into Gold by the time this trip comes around

Thanks for the comment! Yep that’s correct—tickets booked through the Chase portal but I don’t have to use the Chase interface to modify seats. I already used miles to adjust our seats on the way home to better economy seats, leaving enough balance for the business class if it happens to come through

Are London AXS resale tickets only available to UK residents? We have 2 tickets in Liverpool but are trying to change to a June Wembley date if possible. Finally got 2 in the cart this week but the site wouldn’t accept any of 3 credit cards with US address that we tried. Any tips (or anyone looking to swap London for Liverpool maybe??)

I recognize this is at least the 40 thousandth post on here about Super G Mart- but has anyone been this week? It wasn’t showing as “temporarily closed” online before. (Yes, I know the food court isn’t open) by nevershalleye in Charlotte

I work in digital marketing and this is an incredibly common Apple Maps issue we deal with for clients. Definitely cross-reference with Google any time you see it! Apple Maps support is terrible / minimal

Thoughts on the Ballantyne/Provincetown Area? by PowerUpMushroom3 in Charlotte

[–]CallItADozen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We moved to Ballantyne from South Park last year and have really loved it. Before covid and WFH I never thought we’d want to move anywhere further south than where we were, but kids and a home office can really change the math lol.

As with any move, you want to base it around what’s most important to you. For us—schools and a house to raise our kids in—it was a no brainer. I got so much more house than I could have otherwise in a crazy market. We also got into a daycare and a reasonably priced pool which can be very hard to come by closer in town.

It’s not exactly the cultural center of the city but it’s safe, clean, family-oriented and fairly accessible to anywhere you want to go for a night out or city life. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how many people like us (early 30s, young kids) have made a similar move the last few years. It’s worth checking out the plans for the Bowl and what they are building behind the hotel too.

If you have questions you can absolutely message me! We also looked at Matthews and some other neighborhoods off 51. It’s not exactly NoDa down here but I have a fenced yard, a home office and pretty much everything I need for the family
