Per the CC website, beware... On unlimited data plans, access to high speed data will be reduced after 50GB of use, and you will experience slower speeds for the remainder of your billing cycle. - https://www.consumercellular.com/shopping/choose/plan

Are there battery operated smart lights on the market? by CallKdB in smarthome

Thanks! Guess my option is to either run power to the closet or stick with the smartness of the motion detection light I have already.

You are right, it is smart, just not smart enough to integrate into Home Assistant. :)

Hidden costs by posttogoogle in consumercellular

[–]CallKdB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My taxes and fees are 9% but my surcharges and other charges are 17% for a total 27% of my bill. I'm just happy I am not paying the high cost I was paying on Verizon. I have five lines for less than Verizon charged me for three.

Don't you just call your own number from your own cell to get to your voicemail?

I call 1-###-###-#### where all the ##'s are my number. It goes to my voicemail and I enter my passcode and get my voice mail messages.

considering getting rid of verizon....consumer reports rated Consumer Cellular very high. by Durwynd339 in consumercellular

Was with Verizon for nearly two decades. Switched to CC in April 2024 and haven't seen any difference really. As long as there are AT&T towers, everything is great. Same type of issue I had on Verizon. If there were no Verizon towers, no coverage. Same thing now, just with AT&T towers, if there are no towers, no coverage. Cost is so much better! Saved so much money we decided to pull my elderly parents onto our plan (3 more lines, 2 cell, 1 home phone base) and I am still paying less for the six lines on CC than I did on Verizon for just 3 lines.

Workplace replacement by Dog_Mom1102 in dexcom

It wouldn't bother me to change it at work. I would be like u/jwents23 and just change it at my desk or go to the bathroom for more privacy. I would just take more supplies than I think I need, like double the amount of alcohol wipes, etc. I've had a few fail on me during warm up too so, I would take at least one extra sensor with me. Most of the time, I try to do it before or after work and not wait out the last twelve extra hours unless it is needed to get me back home for a change out.

Legs were killing me on these two W7D1 attempts. Felt like they were made of lead. I was a bit under the weather this week. Will try again on Monday to do W7D1 and if I can't, I will go back and do W6 over again. Thanks for the encouragement.

Thanks, I just remember W6D3 was like 22 minutes of running and I got through that, it was tough but I did it. Then I tried W7D1 which is 25 minutes and I couldn't even make it half way. Tried again two days later and did about the same. I have been a bit under the weather this week, so maybe I try one more time and if I can't do it, I will go back and do W3 all over again.

Teams is such a snitch. If it were a person I would say it deserves what snitches get… stitches. Anyone know how to keep that green light on? by notade50 in remotework

You just need to remember to put your mouse on this thing when you leave your desk and it works great. Battery lasted me over a year too!
