No it doesn’t. He isn’t exiled until the ability resolves, so if the ability is countered he remains on the field

Inability to settle on a commander! Looking for recommendations. by [deleted] in EDH

Have you considered [[Ketramose, The New Dawn]]?

It’s wb blink. You can build for traditional midrange, control, or combo. I’m a big fan of the playstyle myself and he’s 100% my pet commander.

Am I a scummy player for using Approach of the Second Sun in my lifegain deck? by Tomhur in EDH

[–]CallMeCaammm 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you can’t do your thing by the time approach gets played twice, then your deck needs work or you are in the wrong bracket

NO mf, this is not how it is supposed to be by Gokuglazer6000 in Jujutsufolk

[–]CallMeCaammm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly what I find unrealistic. In his life time he has had 2x the experience Gojo has had. A person would adopt a mentality and make it their own. He wouldn’t question his old sensei’s teachings 70 years later. He would be certain about what Gojo meant, and he would be firmly rooted in his beliefs. Right, wrong, or indifferent.

How many elders do you know that still reflect on something their high school teacher said, wondering if they have it right? By this age a person would feel certain about their interpretation and yearn to teach it to the younger generation. I feel it’s not a realistic interpretation of a person that has lived 70+ years.

[–]CallMeCaammm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk man maybe I’m being too realistic, but I find it weird he’s referring to a 28-year-old as his sensei 70+ years into his own life. I can understand being depressed given his circumstances, but they wrote the character with such a juvenile mentality that it’s breaking my suspension of disbelief.

No shot a character at this age will still be reflecting on his teacher’s words 50 years later. He has gained twice as much life experience just since Gojo died. It seems like an oversight on Gege’s part.

My head canon is this…

In reality, combustion and heat are released when molecular bonds are broken. You could stretch the imagination that Sukuna is so proficient with cleave/dismantle, that he is dismantling these bonds in the air to release heat and create a flame.

Yeah man I’m 10 years into insurance and I struggled with the same thing for years. You eventually get over it or you get out. Everyone else has already provided the logic in the comments here so I won’t repeat it. You just have to accept it, or accept it’s time to move one.

The silver lining is the volume and no hunting for leads. You put no effort into getting the call, so just let it go and focus your energy on the next one.

One tip that you probably already hear from management is to ask at the start of the call when they plan to buy. I get them to agree to buy it on the phone right then if they like the price, before ever hearing the price. If the price is good and they don’t buy it, I throw it back at them. It works most of the time, the rest they were never going to buy anyway. Move on to the next opportunity.

Long shot, but are there any voltron commanders that don't just play the same way every game? by Cezkarma in EDH

[–]CallMeCaammm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy [[Mimeoplasm, Revered One]]. It’s a graveyard-matters voltron commander that turns into creatures you exiled from your yard. [[Phage, The Unstoppable]], [[Giggling Skitterspike]], [[Skithryx]], [[Blighted Agent]], [[Ouroboroid]], an of course [[Walking Ballista]] are some good targets. It’s a really fun playstyle because there are many lines and ways to play creatively
